For the first time a game transcends the best of movies in every single way!!

Simply spellbinding, a true masterpiece and my hat goes off to all those who took part in the making of this game as it is truly brillant technical achievement.

It has an great story, incredible historical detail but the fluid gameplay is what really brings it all to life from nail biting combat of wiedling two weapons at a time to exploring & hunting in the massive American frontier of the mid to late 1700's. You will experience the nearest thing to actually being there, I do not exaggerate... walking around Boston you will hear Irish, Scottish accents along with the odd spurt of German. The detail draws you into the experience, you don't need to suspend your disbelief as everything is laid out before you; all you have to do is "play".

Climb, dive, sail and free run your way around the American revolution!! Can this experience be topped... Ubisoft will have a hard time following up on this one.

PS: If you have a 3D capable TV or Project, then use use it!! There is no loss in fidelity for rendering this game in 3D, everything still runs at 720p 60hz in 3D on the PS3.

Everything about this game is rushed, from the cinematics to the game play. Very disappointed... if I could return the game I would.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, great price, 26 Oct. 2011
An external Blu Ray burner which works with MAC OSX for just over 100 euros... I call that a bargain. In order for it to properly burn on a MAC you will need Toast. A great device for backing up media. Of course, Hard Disks are much cheaper per Gigabyte but they are prone to failure over time so I backup my most important material to Blu Ray.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Headset but not without its problems, 26 Oct. 2011
Don't be expecting anything that will blow you away in terms of sound from this headset, what you always have to remember is that it is not real 7.1 surround sound but "simulated 7.1". Bass is also lacking and the overall sound quality does not stand up to the likes of headsets from top tier products such as Bose. This means that movies will always sound better on your 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system with the rumbling of a real subwoofer and true 5.1 / 7.1 sound.

Nevertheless, the headphones do come into their own with games and there is now doubt that they will give you an edge when gaming by being able to precisely locate the direction sounds are coming from.

Advantages:
-Wireless
-Good Simulated Dolby 5.1 which sets a new standard for headset gaming
-Dual bluetooth which can be linked to PS for chat and your phone (or any other bluetooth device) simultaneously
-Presets and programmable equalizer
-10 hour life on batteries

Disadvantages:
-RF 2.4Ghz band is prone to interference from wireless routers. This meant I had to move my router about 3 meters away to ensure there was no interference.
-No lithium ion rechargeable battery included. It runs on AA batteries. Of course, I bought rechargeable AAs but you have to take them out each time.
-There is a small hissing sound, although this is very slight
-The are bulky and ugly. You will look like a bit of a nerd wearing them.

In summary, not a bad set of headphones but I don't think they were worth 200 euros considering I could have bought the Sony PS3 7.1 headphones for half the price which do not have the same RF interference issues and also include a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

This is one of the best documentary series from the BBC in the past five years. There has been an immense amount of thought put into this production and it just shines through. BBC are the best in the world and long may they produce such quality and stir the curiosity of many generations to come. The locations and the incredible HD images are Simply Amazing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total Waste of Money, 16 Nov. 2010
I had to write this review to warn others, this game is not worth the money. I feel like I have been robbed. Just got it today and have been playing for two hours and I am completely let down in every aspect of the quality of the game. If I could send it back to Amazon and demand my money back I would. I do not understand how the game got such a good rating from sites such as IGN, they must have been bribed by Activision.

First off, the graphics are PS2 quality, terrible texturing and lightning effects... it is really like something from five or six years ago, Half Life 2 on my 5 year old PC looks 10 times better than Black Ops.

Secondly, the game is overly easy with non existent AI making it simply boring to play.

Not a patch on Modern Warfare 2, in fact, it is a couple of steps back from MW2. I will be looking to sell my copy on eBay. Shameful attempt at a game - these guys are only interested in money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Game of the Year 2009, 13 Nov. 2009
Uncharted 2 is beyond a shadow of a doubt the game of 2009. Incredibly detailed and well balanced game play, a lot of love and attention has been put into developing it and it really shines through - quality.

Not just the best game for the PS3 but probably one of the best games of all time. This one is a keeper and a classic.

If your choice for Christmas is between this and Modern Warfare 2, choose this. I found MW2 to be a big disappointment and not a patch on Unchartered.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the Hype, no 5.1 sound, 13 Nov. 2009
The game is overall a minor improvement over the first modern warfare in terms of graphics. Lags way behind "Unchartered 2" which is superior in nearly every respect.

The reason I give it three stars is because the sound quality is way behind nearly all of the other PS3 games I have. I was also shocked to find that there is no 5.1 support, although the game is DTS there is no center channel. The voice dialog is, therefore, very difficult to hear.

Disappointed, expected more from a $500 million game :(
