5.0 out of 5 stars Gently inspirational, 7 Sept. 2014
A fascinating book that once you start reading you can't put down. The best thing is that whichever chapter you read you come away with positive feelings and ideas to try out to make your own brain work better. Gently inspirational for the average person on the street and makes you feel like changing your everyday safe normal repetitive actions to mixing things up a bit. Fantastic!

Polar Bear Pirates and Their Quest to Engage the Sleepwalkers: Motivate Everyday People to Deliver Extraordinary Results

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple but very effective, 27 Nov. 2011
I am not the type of person that reads many business books, but Adrian's first book "Polar Bear Pirates and their quest to reach Fat City" captivated me in it's simplicity and clever observations of the workplace. So I was eager to read what the second Polar Bear installment had to offer. "Their quest to engage the Sleepwalkers" has proved to be another great read, which has built on the first book to provide more hints and tips that I can apply myself at work; like how to identify, manage, and optimise my "Amps" and "Vamps"! The beauty of the Polar Bear books is that they are written in a humerous way but with serious messages. Both this book and Adrian's first are relevant to anyone in any position in any business and I strongly recommend them to all.
