3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, 3 Jan. 2003

The Multimedia keyboard from Microsoft could be better... for a start I was disappointed with the design of it. The multimedia and other buttons above the Function keys look cheap and feel slightly flimsy - but they all come in useful. I use my PC as a music jukebox and the volume, play, stop, next and previous track buttons work great... much better than using key combinations in Windows Media Player!
The feel of the keys takes a little getting used to, but it's a nice keyboard to work with for sure. I wish I'd bought the Wireless Optical desktop instead though - which features a wireless version of this keyboard with a mouse too.

4.0 out of 5 stars a fine return from the talented duo, 24 Dec. 2002
This review is from: Kaleidoscope Skies [VINYL] (Vinyl)
Jam El Mar and Mark Spoon make a fine return with this, their third studio album. Kaleidoscope Skies is a nice mixture of downtempo, house and trance. The standout tracks "Kaleidoscope Skies" and "I Pull My Gun", which both featured as singles are the best, but "Don't Call It Love" which features lucious vocals from Plavka is also great. A fine album.

4.0 out of 5 stars all we need is a little energon, and a lot of luck, 30 Nov. 2002
Certainly one of the best animated movies of the 80's with great characters, a strong storyline and fantastic soundtrack. The DVD version features a short documentary "I Love the 80's" which rather annoyingly starts playing as soon as the disc is put in the drive, it would have been better to be an option from the main menu. Picture quality is slightly (but noticeably) better than the VHS version and the sound is Dolby Digital 5.1. Unfortunately though, it's not in widescreen. Recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks great, functions well and is built solidly., 30 Nov. 2002
Looks great, functions well and is built solidly. Battery life is generally pretty good, with the two AAA batteries lasting approx six weeks. It's perhaps worth considering the Wireless desktop set for an extra £25 or so, which includes the wireless Multimedia keyboard.

5.0 out of 5 stars Steve Coogan at his very best., 30 Nov. 2002

This is by far (which is saying something) the best Alan Partridge series to date. Coogan shines in all six episodes of this hilarious series documenting his decline from TV chat show host to radio Norwich dj.

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant new features, 10 Nov. 2002
this is a much updated version of the DSC-F55E (which I previously owned, and incidently was the first ever available Memory Stick product). My thoughts on it are that the Bluetooth receiver rocks, works brilliant with my sony laptop. The design and build quality are outstanding. The best looking camera on the market in my opinion. The picture quality is noticeably better, especially indoor pictures seem a lot more "real". The docking cradle is a useful addition too. Recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars official description, 7 Oct. 2002
This review is from: In The Underground (Audio CD)
Next up on Hooj, 'In The Underground' by Psycho Radio - 80's-tweaked punk funk from Italy is the order of the day here, with Psycho Radio's 'In The Underground' bringing spiky digital funk together with snaking electronic rhythms to provide the phat-ass peaktime sounds. As ever, the package comes on two discs, with the Original mix sitting on the A side of disc one in all its cool glory, with Daniele Tignino's heavy tribal workout on the B.

Disc two sees the tougher sounds displayed on the remix from Basics resident, Paul Woolford. Paul's recent works under the guises of Bobby Peru, 10,000 BC (one half of with Yousef) and as an artist outright (recording for Subliminal) has not gone unnoticed and his twisted grooves and tough drums work perfectly with the sleazy vocals. Quirky Bristolian houser, A-J Scent turns in a smooth remix on the B, skilfully continuing the 80's theme with aplomb.

With support already from Lawler (as featured on his much-lauded Lights Out comp), Sanchez, Howells, Tom Stephan, Jon Marsh, Futureshock and more, 'In The Underground' looks set to continue rocking the spot.

5.0 out of 5 stars the best palm os 4 unit to date, 10 Sept. 2002
This review is from: Sony Cli PEG-T675C (Electronics)
packed with features and slim, light and stylish too - the T665C has it all. The extra processing speed is handy, and the supplied 16mb of internal RAM is a real bonus. Recommended.
