Too Good For Words, 29 Aug. 2001
With this album, Skitz firmly positions himself at the forefront of hip-hop production, not just within the UK but world-wide. His collaborations with a wealth of emerging and established UK talent are wholly successful; each strikingly eclectic track maintains an unmistakable style.
In particular, 'The Junkyard' with Task Force combines vivid imagery of social decay through brilliant MCing from Chester P and Farma G with flawless production, making for an unforgettable experience. Similarly, the lyricism and vocals offered by Roots Manuva on 'Where My mind Is At' alongside Skitz are good to the point of being almost moving.
Anyone with a glimmer of an interest in hip-hop should not be without this LP.
