Thus was a gentle introduction to how Altzheimers affects people and families. Well written and touching. Read it very quickly.

Fascinating history, sensitively written. Very interesting and absorbing. Makes you want to collect netsuke and my recent trip to Vienna required a visit to Ephrussi Palace!

I've had EE for a week or so now and so far am pretty happy. I haven't had time to investigate all the options, but I have 2 POP email accounts and one Microsoft Exchange and seems to cope with them all fine. I do not synchronise addresses and have ME account checking for email sync with relatively long window. I do like being able to colour code accounts. When I first installed ME, I had significant battery drain but uninstalled and reinstalled and now it is fine. I tried the trial version for a week first, which is a full version so gives a good indication.

My first Elmore Leonard - and probably my last. It wasn't bad, but was fairly predictable. I would rather spend my reading time on more unusual books.

4.0 out of 5 stars good fun, 14 Oct. 2013

not sure that non-cricketers would appreciate that much, but had moments of laugh-out-loud funniness. Good to read some uplifting stories of sport sometimes.

A relatively quick read, even taking time out to do the reflection exercises. Worth working through just for the idea to pause and reflect before allowing worry to take over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and easy to use, 1 Sept. 2011
This review is from: Head Contour Swim Paddle (Sports)
These paddles are comfortable and fit well once adjusted. I have small hands and so it took a bit of effort to pull the straps tight enough, but once set, they can just be slipped on and off without further adjustment. Good for front and back crawl. Not yet tried for breast stroke, but very helpful in improving technique.

5.0 out of 5 stars As expected so far!, 13 May 2010
I've had the watch a few weeks now and it seems to do exactly what I expected. It is neat (I have quite small wrists) and comfortable to wear. I havent dived in it yet but it has withstood swimming and the gym with no problems.

What Is a Googly?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for beginners, 9 Feb. 2010
This review is from: What Is a Googly? (Paperback)
Recommended this book by friend as I was starting to get interested in cricket. Even though it is now old and the examples of players, etc. are therefore not current, this book puts over the concepts really well and in a lighthearted fashion. Definitely worth having if you want to find out not just googlies but also about just why anyone would stand at silly mid off!
