4.0 out of 5 stars A great DBZ EXPERIENCE!, 7 Nov. 2011
I am a long time fan of the Dragon Ball series and have owned many of the previous games with Tenkaichi 3 being my benchmark for these types of games. With that said Ultimate Tenkaichi does not surpass this in features or fighting, but I feel it does so in its experience. By this I mean this is probably the first DBZ game that actually feels like the series and when in action looks like the series too. Yes the fights do consist of a lot of 50-50 clashes but then if you watch the anime close enough most of the fights boil down to that anyway, its just that they are pre-decided by the artists and production team.
The world map/exploration lite returns and is a welcome reintroduction, and the redrawn cut-scenes from the anime look fantastic (the whole series should be redrawn with this quality and I'd buy it in an instant). The overall 3D graphics whilst fighting are also the best to date and look fantastic, as do the arenas you fight in.
I was lucky enough to pre-order the collectors edition of this and would recommend that to anyone who can find it for a reasonable price as the included Gohan SSJ2 figure is superb.

Overall if you are looking for something that will compete with the depth of a street fighter beat em up or even the old tenkaichi games then this is not the game for you, a lot of the controls and features have been simplified to give the game a more dynamic and action packed look and feel, and if this is what you are looking for (namely a game that looks and feels like the series) then you cannot go wrong with this one. (P.S. I find I have enjoyed this game immensely so far but I have only played for 2hr sessions at most, so I cannot comment on how this game would stack up over very prolonged gaming periods).

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent series and Viridian Collection works Region 2!!!, 16 Feb. 2010
This is, as stated in the previous review, an excellent series and rather charming too. Good combination of Sci-fi locales and typical anime humour/action. And as always the Funimation dub is pretty good if (like me) you prefer not to read subtitles or don't happen to know Japanese.
The picture quality is pretty awesome and looks great, especially when up-scaled to 1080p, its very clean.
Another bonus of this Viridian Collection (US Import, which appears to be the one in the picture on this site here) is that it will play on Region 2 players (I have tried on UK PS3 and works fine) so that is an added bonus as it can be quite hard to find a collection here in the UK for a decent price.

5.0 out of 5 stars GTA IV, different?, 30 April 2008
Well where to start, this game is just the pinnacle of fun especially the multiplayer. The core elemnts of the past GTA games are still present and intact like the fantastic script and the hilarious humour but it some how feels different. It feels (although another reviewer has said the opposite) newer to me, much more modern and up to date, and this is by far a good thing.
The graphics themselves are phenominal even better when considering the size of the game and the amount goin on i personally prefer the ps3 version but it is all down to personal preference at the end of the day what i think lookjs good someone else may not and so and so forth (i'll leave that decision up to you). Car damage has dramtically been overhauled with great levels of detail all the way down to the tyre treads, smashing your car up has never been so good. Also driving physics make the cars so much more realistic to drive its not perfect and can take some getting used to but its definately a great improvement. . The euphoria adds that liitle extra element of belivability (spelling probs wrong lol) which is the most important thing in a game to me, the realism/authenticity. Obviously theres a limit to what can be done without killing the gameplay totally but this is where rokstar have done the gaming world proud, they have concentrated on all the little details and it has totally paid off.
Soundtrack is even better this time with more radio stations than before and more than 2 stations i want to listen to lol! There is variety without the quality suffering. Everything from classic rock to rap to funk and instrumnetals it is truly awesome to listen to.
So in my opinion this is one of if not the best game made to date and the only decision should have to make when buying this game is what console u want it on (i own both but loathe 360 so was easy for me, but as i said the graphical difference is purely on what you think, i personally feel more comfortable playing a gta game on the PS dont ask y i jus do.) A MUST buy anyday of the week! 10/10 most fun i have had in ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars What can i say?!, 2 Mar. 2008
At the time of writing this, this TV/monitor is quite rare. However if you should happen to find one (or go actively looking for one) then dont pass it up. If the price is right (which it certainly wasnt when first released) the this monitor/TV is fantastic. I use it for both PC and HD gaming (Xbox 360 and PS3) however as a standard definition TV it is quite poor, so if this going to be your primary use then you may want to see it in action first. BUT if you want a PC monitor or use/ are going to use HD content then this gives onr hell of a picture.
Comes with several connections; component, VGA, DVI (with HDCP), S-Video and RGB scart. I havnt tested S-Video but im assuming it will give a similar picture to the RGB which is all that impressive. VGA, DVI and component however are.
a Must buy if the price is right and if u need a high clarity crisp PC or HD display. Also i think the remote has a littel bit of character about it lol(although a little on the cheap side).
