5.0 out of 5 stars Great product to protect and enhance the NEW kindle, 2 Nov. 2011
I was looking for a cover to protect the new KINDLE. I don't want to pay a disproportionate amount of money on a cover for an £89 device but do want it to protect it and look good. This case does it at a reasonable price ie 10% of the new KINDLE. The delivery was prompt, the Case looks good and is well padded to protect. It does this without obstructing the controls or access points. I am very satisfied with this purchase and it was delivered promptly.
I would not hesitate to recommend this to other purchasers of the new KINDLE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have map for those walking the Great Glen Way, 16 Aug. 2011
This review is from: The Great Glen Way (Map)
A wonderful map to accompany someone walking the Great Glen Way.
Each mile is marked and gives the walker excellent feedback on progress throughout the walk from hour to hour.
During the walk I lost my original and bought a replacement - that was how much I was using it.

The Suitcase Kid
The Suitcase Kid

5.0 out of 5 stars Giving adults a child's eye view of parents separating., 30 Sept. 2010
This review is from: The Suitcase Kid (Paperback)
This book gave me a childs eye perspective on their parents separating and the struggle to adapt to change for the affected child over which the child feels completely powerless. The arguing and blaming between parents who are so self-absorbed in their emotional battles with ex-partners they fail to adequately recognise or attend to their childrens' needs and internal struggles. The difficulty of moving between homes and getting on or not with step brothers step sisters and step parents. The thoughtlessness of step grandparents and the potential positive effects of some good people who had no familial ties. The short lived concern followed by impatience of teachers on what is likely to be a long term effect on the children's schooling. The forlorn and ultimately doomed hope that children carry within that their parents will get back together and become a happy family.
This book could be invaluable to children affected by separation and all the significant adults in their lives.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stop awkward bending or crawling to access sockets., 13 Mar. 2009
I ordered my first one for my home office and was so impressed i ordered another within a couple of days for my lounge. Very easy to use. The sockets can be run individually and as a group. What I don't know is how robust and long lasting this equipment will be as I only have been using them for three weeks.
