5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible true accout of Kenny Richeys., 8 Mar. 2006
I seen this book in Waterstones, whilst looking in the true crime section. I've always been fascinated at the way crimes are not looked into thoroughly, and the way people are wrongly accused.
This book is an incredible account of Kenny Richeys fight for his freedom. It goes into a lot of detail about the false evidence that was used in a Ohio court to convict Kenny of murdering a two year old girl with arson.
It shows poor lawyering, that did not help Kenny in the slightest.
This book will make your feel frustrated, angry, upset when you read about the 'so-called evidence' used to convict Kenny, and his never ending battle for freedom from life on Death Row.
In the book, it also provides a website, which is organised at helping Kenny break free from Death row & clear his name of something he didn't do.
This book is outstanding, and the authour (Tom Richey - Kenny's brother) has done an incredible job at portraying Kenny's life on Death row for the last 19 years.
A must read!

4.0 out of 5 stars Ed Gein: Pyscho!, 6 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Ed Gein: Psycho! (Paperback)
Being a huge Ed Gein fan, i have researched a lot on Ed Gein, his crimes, his family life, his up-bringing and his last years of his life.
Ed Gein still captivates me, and so i had to buy this book when i seen it.
It is brilliant at desribing his up-bringing, and tries it's best to captures Ed's personality.
The other thing i particulary liked about this book, is it includes descriptions about horror movies loosely based around Ed Gein's actions.
I've given it 4 stars, because i do wish it included more about Ed, and more about why he did what he did rather than how twisted and sick his actions were. Also it does includes some sick humour towards the end of the book, when going onto show comics that have been published about him, which some may find offensive or you may find it funny.
Overall it is a good book & definatly worth reading for those Ed Gein fans!

5.0 out of 5 stars An essential for people who work with herbs., 8 July 2004
This is a brilliant book and very informative. It's an essential for those who work with herbs a lot for magical uses, it's a great handbook to use when looking up certain properties of a herb, so great if you are also wanting to make your own gifts (herb pillows, bath teas etc).
