4.0 out of 5 stars Great looking bottle!, 16 Feb. 2014

I like this bottle a lot, and it looks great in black, but it's pretty difficult to tell how far up you've filled it! There's also the rubber hand grip which feels nice, but obstructs your view (between 300-500ml on the 20oz bottle )which can cause further problems when trying to fill to an exact level for your shake!

5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect waterproof fleece., 27 Oct. 2013
I simply love this fleece/jacket to bits.

I've had it about a year now, and it is just what I was looking for: Something waterproof and warm enough to wear over just a shirt, without the need to carry a coat or jacket around as well.

The Good:
+ Very waterproof despite being made from fleece material.
+ Feels like a good jacket, but with the freedom/comfort of a fleece.
+ Warm and very comfy, with fleece on the outside, padded material on the inside.
+ 4 big pockets, 3 outside, 1 inside. All zipped.
+ Draw strings on the middle and the bottom.
+ Good elastic cuffs, and thick material keep the wind out.
+ Extremely durable fleece material, thoroughly resistant to brambles and the like.

The Bad:
- Hand pockets are made out of the waterproof fleece material, so wet hands stay a bit damp.
- Even a small size is a little big for my tastes (but some people will like it being huge!)
- Takes a good while to dry fully when thoroughly soaked.

With a nice waterproof hat you can brave any weather in this fleece. Even with just a shirt on underneath no damp will get through! In terms of warmth, it feels like the perfect thickness for average British weather. But during the winter, if you feel the need, it's big enough to put another layer underneath and feel lovely and snug!

3.0 out of 5 stars Really depends on your lawn if it will work or not., 26 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This type of lawnmower is a fun idea. It's something different from the norm, that will give you some exercise, but there are several things you should be aware of before buying which may make it impractical for you:

Twigs (anything thicker than 3mm) or thick grass/weeds can simply stop it in it's tracks. It's not a strength issue, it just suddenly jams, completely stopping the wheels+blades from spinning. Which leaves you pushing along dead weight until you unjam it. Moving at a brisk pace does help a little with this though.

Physical effort required to mow your lawn is quite low which is great, but if you have to stop-start to unjam the blade, it can wear on you both physically and mentally.

It's a light machine with small wheels which makes it easier to handle and transport, but due to the low weight, bumpy terrain will make things more difficult, especially with the grass collection box.

It's nowhere near as noisy as anything with a motor, but still noisy enough to attract the attention of your neighbours, so no midnight mowing!

---

If you have a small lawn that is tidy and flat (with no trees dropping twigs in your way!), this could really be perfect for you, but unfortunately it wasn't right for my lawn.

Wells Poultry Equipment - 8 litre Green and White Plastic Poultry Drinker
Wells Poultry Equipment - 8 litre Green and White Plastic Poultry Drinker

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job!, 14 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Doesn't leak, unlike some poultry drinkers, as the green base is a solid bit of plastic.

The green and white plastic parts don't lock together, just twist together loosely, and there is a gap between the plastic, so you will need some skills to flip it over after filling without spilling any water!

Metal handle is strong and the whole thing in general feels pretty solid. The extend-able feet don't look indestructible, but do feel strong enough. There are 2 height settings to raise the container ~2inch or ~4inch off the ground.

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect., 2 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Had this chair a bit over 2 months now. (1 year + 3 year updates at bottom)

The good:
+ Looks great and makes your desk area look a bit more spacious due to the minimalistic design and mesh.
+ Plenty of adjustments.
+ Mesh is very cool/breathable, both on the seat and the back.
+ Rolls on floor + Spins around easily.
+ Chair back tilts side-to-side slightly to adjust to your posture, so you get better support.
+ Arm rests are quite solid and durable, but still slightly squidgy and smooth.
+ Adjustable head rest works great.
+ Keeps you in a good posture!

The bad:
- Seat cushioning is a bit too thin - fine for 1-2hours, then my behind aches a bit!
- Adjustable Lumbar support too often slips down to the lowest position.
- Arm rests are very slightly too far apart for my narrow build.
- Very minor wobble + chair squeak.
- Mesh seat gathers dust/debris etc and really needs to be hoovered to clean between the mesh gaps.
- Cats + the mesh backing could be a recipe for disaster if they like to scratch! (However mine are well behaved so far^^)

What I'm not sure about:
* I can't figure out how long this chair will last - it could be durable enough for 10years+ or it might only last like 2. The materials certainly feel very durable, but they're thin and simple, so once they start to go the chair will die off quickly.
* I find it really quite comfy considering it's a good-posture PC chair. But have issue with the seat - which you might also find is just a bit solid, especially if you need to sit for long spells without breaks. It's made of ~2inch foam, but there only feels like 1inch of give in the middle, so it is just a little too hard. In the end however, it mostly comes down to the types of chairs you're used to.

Adjustable stuff:
Seat height. Back + Seat + Armrests all tilt together with adjustable tension, which is lockable or left loose. Arm rest height and 2 width screw positions. Lumbar support behind mesh up/down. Head rest up/down with forward/back tilt. Also Back tilts side-to-side on its own slightly to adjust to your position.

Assembly:
Quite easy to figure out. I had English instructions which worked, but were a little brief on the description. Easiest to have someone help put it together, but it is ok on your own, just more tricky. Takes around 30min. If you think you're missing screws check they aren't taped to the inside of the box. Attach arm-rests first!

---

A year since I bought it, and using it every day:
The solidness of the seat has long since stopped bothering me - not sure if it's the chair that has softened, or me, but either way it is completely comfy now! Everything on the chair is still working perfectly, the only new complaint is the chair now squeaks a bit when leaning from side to side!

Over 3 years:
Not using it as much these days, but still fairly frequently (and for occassional long periods). Seat is still comfortable, no complaints at all there, very happy. The mesh is standing up to the use very well indeed - no damage at all, although it has picked up plenty of cat hairs in the seat that are almost impossible to remove. The lumbar + headrest are fairly loose and both slip down to the lowest setting - more of a design flaw than wear. Arm rests have a few marks on them from scraping them on the desk, but still completely solid and comfy, not falling apart or anything.

Very happy with everything except for the lumbar+headrest, the chair is lasting fantasically well!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price, but water leaks out., 28 Feb. 2013
There's a flaw with the design of the 6litre version of this poultry drinker: The water slowly leaks out from gaps where the clear plastic locks into the red.

If you plan on refilling every day or 2 it's not too much of an issue, but if you were aiming for a larger container specifically to avoid that, then you should probably look for a different drinker. Also further complicating matters, it is a bit tough to twist it together so it locks fully, and if you don't lock it, you will lose even more water!

I have the 3litre version of this product also, and it doesn't appear to have either of those problems, but I've given up on the 6litre now and I'm looking for a replacement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Big net!, 16 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Somehow the 42" size in the description went totally unheeded when I ordered this net.

42" is huge!

However it is great quality for the price. Certainly feels strong and well designed. The net mesh is small and feels tough also, roughly 1cm hexagons. As mentioned it is a massive net, but can be disassembled into 2 pieces (net and handle), leaving you with 2 thin, 1metre long parts - it does take a bit of a technique, or ideally having 2 people, to put it together and take it apart, due to the elastic design of the net. The only downside I can see so far is that while the telescopic handle locks out quite nicely fully extended, at 2metres length, it doesn't stay locked at all when it isn't.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fleece and Jacket combined, but not the best of both worlds., 6 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As others have mentioned this top is more of a jacket than a fleece, which gives it pros and cons that you wouldn't get with a conventional fleece.

+ You wouldn't think it by looking at it, but it is extremely waterproof.
+ Pockets are warm, comfy and fairly large, you get about 3inches of depth below the zip.
+ It 's very light.
+ Fabric is pretty much halfway between fleece and jacket, so it's not quite as flexible as a fleece, but still a bit more comfy than your average jacket.

- Fabric is not breathable, the waterproofing keeps sweat in!
- Wrists of the sleeves are not elasticated, "Wind Blocker" does little to keep gusts from going up your arms.
- It isn't as warm as a proper fleece.

I was hoping to use this fleece/jacket just as a top over a shirt, taking advantage of it being a fleece and jacket combined - but it isn't really up to that sadly! It's basically a fairly thin coat without a hood. Nothing wrong with that, but you will probably want a warm layer underneath it to make up for its failings. However, if you don't mind wearing that extra layer underneath and can live without the hood it will do a nice job in any weather.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for me., 11 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I use this stuff in the place of aftershave and it helps fairly well with the acne on my chin, with the added bonus of being antibacterial.

Although to be honest, this product is pretty poor except for helping my acne!

It smells like something you'd clean your toilet with, although fortunately this strong chemical smell doesn't linger. It is a liquid, not a gel or cream, meaning it's rather easy to waste loads. Also despite being marketed as a toner, I wouldn't say it improves my skin at all, except for getting rid of whiteheads/pustules faster, and I don't think it even affects blackheads.

The main ingredient is Salicylic acid, which works similar to Benzoyl Peroxide: Causing your skin to peel more frequently, and renew itself before spots get established. One downside of this is you get it all over your hands, so you will get peeling skin there as well if you don't wash if off fast. But you could always use cotton wool/swabs or a roll-on or something instead. Personally I work with my hands often, so I already use a good moisturiser (Lotil) which keeps it in check.

In the end it helps reduce my spots, so I can't really complain! If you find Benzoyl Peroxide too aggressive for your skin this stuff might be better, although be aware it is fairly strong also.
