Verified Purchase(What is this?)
An excellent shaver that is as close as wet shaving. Fully charged in 1-2 hours. Last 2-3 weeks with a 10 minute shave every morning. It tells you with the lights when it needs charging and can be used wet or dry. You will however need shaving adapted as doesn't come with it. Overall this is excellent value for money highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect one-volume introduction to the study of language, 12 Jan. 2012
Why do languages die? How are they born? How do we make speech sounds? How do we write? All these questions and many more are asked and answered in this fascinating book by one of the countries leading authorities on the english language - David Crystal.

I actually only bought this as it was on my university reading list, but I have since developed a keen interest in language and ended up buying his other book 'stories of English'!. (equally worthy of your hard earned cash)

And to the negative reviewer below; this is a book about how language works, not about how the study of language works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Monkeys Do It Again, 23 July 2009
This review is from: Humbug [VINYL] (Vinyl)
I managed to get a promo version of this album a few days ago, and it is by far there best work to date. They have shed off the indie-kid gloss of Whatever people Say I am, and followed down the route of Favourite worst nightmare, entrenching Turner's usual witty lyrics with a rough accomplishment of slutty bass and drums.

This album is alot darker and heavier then the previous two, and shows a different and slightly more adventorous and experimental side to the band. I'm not going to spill too much (as I may get sacked), but just think of Queens of The Stone Age, but heavier, more psychadelic and unpredictable.

If you enjoyed the first half of Favourite Worst Nightmare, or are generally a fan of the sheffield four, go and buy this when it comes out on the 30th. You will NOT regret it!

I've been looking for a speaker for my mp3 player for ages, and have always been skeptical of the really cheap ones. Well, people, this will blow your mind! Small, compact, loud and easy to use. For the money, this is an absolute bargain compared to what else is on the market.
