An insightful book, 30 Mar. 2008
Robert Peston has rare gifts; explaining simply the crude and often ugly manipulation of our money or our debts to benefit a few insiders. He can also, by ready example, show the malign influence that some super rich may choose to exert on wholesome governance. "Who runs Britain" should be read by any lay Trustee, Treasurer or Pension holder. Indeed, it is most aptly timed for anyone disquieted by the Credit Crunch and what might follow.
