Dead Men's Bones: Inspector McLean 4
Dead Men's Bones: Inspector McLean 4
by James Oswald
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Another good, slightly out of the ordinary thriller, 13 Jun. 2017
I really enjoy this Author's books
There is always a decent mystery with just a little bit of the supernatural to make it a bit different.
The 'hero' McLean is a good man and he is supported by decent people. In this tale he is helped because of these qualities and tries to find out the reason why people are dying covered in tattoos and with burned mouths. Ancient and true evil is the answer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, 21 May 2017
This review is from: My Life as a Bench (Paperback)
Ren was a great character, gone too soon like her heroine Amy Whitehouse.
Ren's family have dedicated a bench to her memory and she is trying to get through to them when they visit.
This is a great idea, it's a lovely story, bittersweet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chilling but brilliant, 6 May 2017
This series just gets better and better.
I like the fact that the protagonists are real people with real, sensible lives.

This story is about hate and is chillingly relevant in our world today. Great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, 13 April 2017
I knew that I would like this book as I find Tammy Robinson's books of a consistently high standard. I love her writing, the settings and the characters.
This did not disappoint. What is done so well is the emotions and feelings of younger people which this author gets and writes brilliantly. Everyone is simply drawn but real, their emotions are real and what happens to them is the same. Don't read in public. You'll cry, it makes people feel awkward but do read!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Really made me think, 12 April 2017
This review is from: The Man Upstairs (Paperback)
This is such a great idea
Frank knows that he is fictional, he found out in the last bestseller!
He realises that he needs to change so that 'the man upstairs won't kill him off' as the story progresses fact and fiction clash and the writer and the writing become more involved great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, 2 April 2017
This review is from: Disenchanted (Paperback)
This book is amazing!
I already enjoy the Clovenhoof books by the same authors (so much that I am reading them extra slow !)
This story was spot on! How to avoid a happy ending - fairies and dwarves called Psych, OCD and Disco, wolves, ogres, step mothers, sisters, beasts and more. All merge into an unforgettable fairy tale.
Witty, clever and funny. Loved it.

I like this series, quirky characters and a fun plot.
What sets it apart is the beautiful way in which the author writes. This sets it apart. Want to know what happens next
