Price: £7.94

4.0 out of 5 stars Big pack of sheaths, 3 Jun. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
You can't go wrong with a big pack of condoms from Durex - and these 'feel' thin although reassuringly they are still actually there during sex. . .

4.0 out of 5 stars Dispossession and cure, 3 Jun. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Good explication of Butler's political thinking regarding recent protests, riots and negations of public space. Engaging and clear writing in dialogue form.

2.0 out of 5 stars not that consoling, 3 Jun. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The readership for 'new nature writing' takes on the translation of an equivalent text from France - with a corresponding increase in vague existentialist philosophy and pretentious reading lists. Pared down, however, there is an interesting diary of a forest chosen life here.

Durex Ultra Thin Feel Condoms (Pack of 14)
Durex Ultra Thin Feel Condoms (Pack of 14)
Offered by HealthXpress
Price: £11.44

4.0 out of 5 stars very thin, 3 Jun. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Excellent - not quite 'wafer thin' but thinner than anything I've experienced before. Condoms are increasingly marketed as being 'like skin' or as invisible. While untrue in every case, these are good!

Witchstruck (Tudor Witch 1)
Witchstruck (Tudor Witch 1)
by Victoria Lamb
Edition: Paperback
Price: £6.99

3.0 out of 5 stars teenage Tudor daydream, 3 Jun. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
A heady witchy read - narrative driven and richly described. Almost as if it were imagined by a teenager, day-dreaming of another life, although finely written.

Jabra Chill Corded Stereo Headset
Jabra Chill Corded Stereo Headset
Offered by techstore15
Price: £12.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant design, 16 Feb. 2011
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Clear, crisp sound from the headphones, and the innovative rubber ear pieces actually work - much better than the 'gel' in the ear pieces which keep falling out, these two different shapes provided with these headphones work to hook gently into the ear. Recommended.

How to Stop Living and Start Worrying: Conversations with Carl Cederström
How to Stop Living and Start Worrying: Conversations with Carl Cederström
by Pro Simon Critchley
Edition: Paperback
Price: £14.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Pithy in places though ultimately insubstantial, 16 Feb. 2011
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The genre of the 'philosopher interview' book can often be frustrating - a combination of recapitulation and less than compelling asides from a writer one had been previously thought gloriously imperious. This example builds on Critchley's ideas of nihilism and the ethics of an infinite demand, peppered with half-thought asides on a variety of passing topics, though the main drag is his writing style of Bertrand Russellesque no-nonsense English wit, which grates after a while, as Critchley isn't that funny.

An Introduction to Forensic Genetics Second Edition (Essential Forensic Science)
An Introduction to Forensic Genetics Second Edition (Essential Forensic Science)

5.0 out of 5 stars Good all round introductory textbook in a great new edition, 25 Nov. 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have found this to be an excellent text book for DNA profiling basics, guiding new students through the key processes and concepts. I have used the first edition many times, and this second edition has a good new companion website, and an updated and expanded text. A new chapter on non-human forensic genetics usefully expands the scope as well.

Simple Knitting
Simple Knitting
by Erika Knight
Edition: Paperback
Price: £14.88

4.0 out of 5 stars An invitation to knit, 25 Nov. 2010
This review is from: Simple Knitting (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I needed something to do on the train commuting to my tedious work as a knowledge architect in Swindon, and I have seen some contented people knitting away the journey. This book is a primer, covering all the basics in an elegant, clear manner, though perhaps some 'real life beginner testing' could have filled in some more details on some of the projects. So far, however, I am currently completing a hot water bottle, and all is going well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive, high quality cable, 25 Nov. 2010
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Used this to connect up to my Xbox, and now I can play Assassin's Creed in high definition. . . This cable is packaged well and comes with an instruction guide. It is also better quality than real bargain basement options. The gateway to high definition is here. Recommended!
