4.0 out of 5 stars It's pretty good!, 26 Dec. 2007
Looking at the reviews below I was quite surprised to see only 2 stars. This is the first Millionaire DVD I have got so maybe I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought it was pretty well put together, only played once so can't comment on "repeat questions", but it's great fun and the graphics are cool, and YES there IS a 50/50, phone a friend AND ask the audience AS WELL AS the new "switch lifeline".

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good DVD Game!, 25 Dec. 2007
This is one of the BETTER dvd games on the market. It is super fun and will keep amused for ages! It takes a little gettings used to as the rules are slightly altered to make it suitable for home use but it is great quality and gameplay.

Excellent, recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Much more addictive and BETTER than the last one!, 22 Nov. 2007
Yes, we all were hoping this DOND DVD would be a very big improvement on last years slow, groggy, dull and cheap seeming version.

And guess what. It actually was!

This version is much MUCH more better than last years, the box opening is now much more quicker, you could get from box 1 to 22 in ORDER (not by going straight back to 22) in about 10 seconds.

The graphics, offers and interaction is much better aswell. Last years was pretty boring with the white background and long LONG intervals between box openings and reactions etc and yes it's still A LITTLE slow but it IS faster than last years, JUST about bearable.

The new options like lucky dip and ask the banker are just great.
Lucky Dip has over 30 different scenes filmed in the studio where one is picked at random and given to you, my first one was a bookmark from the banker saying "Next Member of the 1p Club", but other variations are available. Ask the Banker lets you choose a question such as "Where Do Babies Come From" and await the banker's reply. Banker's poems are also a new feature.

And of course the clips available! They are just hilarious.
5/5, much improved, don't be put off by last years AT ALL.

Apple iPod nano 8GB black
Apple iPod nano 8GB black

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good, Very Sleek, 27 Sept. 2007
I had an old 5G iPod Video and never really used the whole 80gig storage. Then I saw the advertisments for the new Nano. It looked perfect, and it really is. On this baby, you can fit 2000 songs, 7,000 photos, 8 hours of video or a combination of each.

When you first see it the size strikes you like lightning! It is incredibly small to say the stuff you can fit on, and very thin too. You probably have a size in your mind, and yeah, so did I, but when you really see it, when you hold it, its smaller and sleeker than ever.

The songs are very clear, the sound is great, and iTunes includes gapless playback so that there's no long gaps between one song ending and the next starting. You get album artwork and can adjust the name, artist etc by opening iTunes and editing.

The photos are very clear and sharp. The screen is only 2" but the iPod and photos work really well together to give you great slideshows with music in the background - music of your choice.

And finally, the video - the biggest thing to hit the Nano! You can fit 8 hours of TV, movies, etc on this little beauty, and thats 30 episodes of a standard 20-minute long show, such as Pimp My Ride, available from the iTunes Store.

I give it 5 stars because its so good if you want an iPod, you want video, photos and of course songs, but you dont want something to big or bulky like the classic. It fits perfectly in your pocket and is now game - friendly.

A fantastic buy, I have had no problems.. so far! Really good.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Penultimate Peril, 19 Oct. 2005
Warning! This may contain spoliers:
When i bought the Penultimate Peril i was expecting a great, action-packed mystery book. I had read every other book in the series and had been looking forward to this book for months. I was not let down. The Penultimate Peril is a fantastic book, just what you'd expect it to be, maybe even more. The book is well planned, from beginning to end, with some funny jokes too. There are a lot of events, which are all exciting for the reader, infact i hardly put the book down. I read it within 24 hours of release, and can't wait for the next book. The Baudelaires travel to the Hotel Denouement with Kit Snicket, a strange woman we met in the last book. There, they have a picnic- my favourite part- and discuss what they will all be doing for the next few days. The Baudelaires will become concierges and will try to find the mysterious JS, either a volunteer or villain. Will they succeed? Or will the notorious Count Olaf reach the sugar bowl before them? All awaits in the Penultimate Peril. Great book. No wait... fantastic.
