5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect tablet for me., 11 Nov. 2013
I bought my Surface 2 Tablet (32GB) 4 weeks ago. It's magnificent. I can't really understand all the negative reviews (RT being a poor W8-Version and lack of Apps in the App-Store). With 100'000 apps in the Store I have found everything I need (how many useless apps are there in the Apple and Google Play stores). You get Office 2013 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and OneNote) for free (!!). Additionally you get 200 GB of Skydrive storage for 2 years.

- A nice sight was the USB 3.0 port on the side of the Surface. Stick a memory stick in and move file on and off your tablet without a problem.
- The new and improved Typecover (real keys) are now backlit and protect the screen when closed. This is the perfect addon when you use the tablet to write Word-Docs or Excel-Spreadsheets.

A high quality tablet that let's you do work as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant adventure, 26 July 2006
I am currently preparing things to GM 'Terror in Talabheim'...and from reading it I have to say it is very well written and very good. It is not your standard city adventure and the plots are not as obvious for the characters as it was in past adventures.

The first part of the book describes in detail everything there is to know about Talabheim. It also includes maps of Talabheim and its surroundings.

The second part is the adventure which is divided into 7 chapters. The adventure itself is designed for first or second career characters (first career characters will have a tough time though). The book prepares the GM for all eventualities and still allows the players their freedom.

Not to spoil too much I think it's save to say that I'd buy 'Children of the horned rat' in addition to this book if you don't have it already.

5.0 out of 5 stars The history of the Rat-men, 6 July 2006
This Skaven-Source book is a good addition to the existing WFRP V2 books.

The book is for GM and players. While the GMs will be able to create more fearsome and cunning Skaven-NPC the players will find precious information about a possible future characters.

The introduction of the the Warp-Magic is very good and increases the gruelty of the Skaven.

The illustrations are (as usual) great.

As with all new WFRP source books a short adventure is found at the end of the book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Season yet, 1 July 2006
Oh my god. I still can't believe it. It couldn't have been any worse.

The plot holes are so numerous, you get dizzy:

- Jack Bauer can be at any place in 10 minutes. The main aspect of 24, the REAL-Time is just not true anymore (it wasn't in Season 4 either). Why? Because the writers got lazy.

- The whole 'the result ALWAYS justifies the means' is just stupid. But Jack doesn't care. Because Jack is the good guy. Jack is never wrong. Because He is Jack.

- The evil guys are so shallow I thought I was watching 50s-Western...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fable, 27 Oct. 2004
This review is from: Fable (Xbox) (Video Game)
The idea of fable is fascinating. A RPG that allows you to do anything.
The people who gave it a bad rating here because it was too short (9 hours or 12 hours). Thats why the game is a unique experience. There is so much to do next to the main storyline..Did any of you guys ever marry, tried to get all silver-keys or bought a house?
THIS is what the game makes special...
The way the character rises the level is brilliant in my opinion (using a skill (magic/trading/Bows/Sword/fist) brings XP which can be allocated to new things like more strength/more health/new spells (or a higher level of one).

5.0 out of 5 stars Ted Nasmith at his best!, 14 Aug. 2001
Once more he did it. Wow! Ted Nasmith, along with John Howe and Alan lee, is the best 'Tolkien Artist'. His landscapes and skies are breathtaking.
If you like LOTR (who doesn't?) or fantasy picture (or both) buy it. You will not be disappointed...
