5.0 out of 5 stars Lifehouse- Music's best kept secret is out!, 12 Nov. 2006
This review is from: Lifehouse (Audio CD)
First heard Lifehouse whilst watching the movie THE WILD with their track 'Good Enough'. Absolutely loved it and wanted more. So I bought this album and was amazed. The songs are so lush and multi-layered and the vocals are pure silk.

I love smooth rock and this is how I would best describe Lifehouse.

I would say they are similar to Five For Fighting, Tonic, Goo Goo Dolls, and Creed.

But only 'similar'. Lifehouse have a unique sound and a songwriting talent that keeps you listening from the first to the very last track.

A must have for anyone who appreciates intelligent and emotive rock music.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Evening with Christopher Cross DVD, 15 Feb. 2004
This DVD features the American rock singer Christopher Cross probably most famous for his track ARTHUR'S THEME the song from the movie Arthur starring Dudley Moore. This DVD contains many of his most popular tracks including 'Sailing', 'Ride Like The Wind' and of course 'Arthur's Theme'.
It was recorded just prior to the release of his albumn 'Walking in Avalon' on March 10th 1998 at a small intimate venue, 'The Galaxy Theatre' in Calafornia.
Also making an appearance is his good friend Michael McDonald on a few tracks.
The sound is good but would have benefitted from the presence of a DTS soundtrack as the bass is fairly light. The surround sound is very good and puts you in the best seat in the house.
Definately for the over 30's this DVD is easy going music but a great 'must have' buy if you're a fan of Mr Cross.
