4.0 out of 5 stars House Nation, 17 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Ministry of Sound Vol.7 (Audio CD)
A real slice of Saturday night in 1997. Hasn't aged too badly to be honest with the crunching kick drums and hands in the air vocals resonating pretty well in 2006. Stand out tracks are Saturday, Love Commandments and the simply marvellous Just Another Groove by Mr Norman Cook. No other track brings me back to those messy 90's quicker than this....I Think That We Should.....liquid ecstacy. Pass the Vics mate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Summertime or anytime album, 17 Mar. 2006

Wonderfully original. The Avalanches used over 800 samples on this album - yet the whole thing feels so perfectly balanced. Blissful, retro funk and beats.

5.0 out of 5 stars Underworld, 14 Jan. 2006
One of the most defining albums of the dance scence in the last 10 years. If you have an interest in serious dance music you need this album.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gary Lineker's Soccer Quiz, 9 Jan. 2006
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Get the boys round, crack a few beers and settle in for a night of footie trivia. Warning - these questions are not easy, and Gary is a little annoying after about 3 seconds.

The Honey Machine
The Honey Machine
by Mark Donaghy
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb first effort from new author, 19 July 2005
This review is from: The Honey Machine (Paperback)
Beautifully illustrated the Honey Machine tells the story of Barnaby and Honeysuckle Farm - a wonderful adventure for kids as they discover how honey is made. This is already a real favourite with my 4 year old - so much so that he made me buy an extra copy for his school.
