3.0 out of 5 stars Too noisy, 11 April 2017
I bought a medium weight from their website. The sleep experience was everything I had hoped it would be. It does not overheat you like other duvets do, so you should sleep better. But I should have bought from another company because the outer cotton fabric on this is very noisy and it may wake you up early if you move around too much while sleeping. I have had many duvets and this is the noisiest fabric I've ever had to put up with in a duvet.

It washes well in the washing machine with the appropriate liquid for wool and dries well outside, but washing it twice did not make a difference to how noisy it is. I had read it would get less noisy with more washings but it made no difference to the noise. Be warned if you are a light sleeper to buy from another company and to ask how noisy the outer fabric is before buying.

I would still recommend a wool duvet above any other filling because of the excellent temperature regulation of wool, but buy it from another company.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good cheap tablet, 13 Jan. 2017
I have the Hi10 Plus with Windows and Android 5.1. It's a great improvement in many ways over my previous tablet the Teclast X98 Air. The screen is excellent, charging is much faster than my previous tablet and the USB C port means i don't have to care which side of the plug goes into the charging socket. It doesn't sound like much but it's little things like that which get under your skin over time. I really like that the screen is 1 inch bigger than the standard iPad screen. The screen resolution is a little lower than an iPad's, but you can't really tell the difference. It is a very clear, high resolution screen. The screen ratio is 3:2 which is a nice compromise between the 10.1 inch widescreen tablet and the more square shaped screen of the 9.7 inch 4:3 ratio tablets such as the Teclast x98 and iPad. It is better than iPad for watching movies and better than the widescreen tablets for browsing the web. I normally go for 4:3 screen ratio, but i really like this. Battery life is another great thing about this tablet.

The downsides to this tablet are that it is noticeably heavier than 9.7 inch and 10.1 inch tablets. The processor is supposed to be an upgrade over my previous tablet but it often feels like a downgrade. Most 3D games should be faster, but other things like typing and web browsing feel slightly slower on this tablet. One game called Archery King is slow and laggy on this tablet for some reason. My Xiaomi phone, which has a lower Antutu benchmark rating than this tablet, is much faster running that game for some reason. It just goes to show you can't always rely on benchmarks.

Typing using the default keyboard is extremely frustrating because of the lag while typing. Downloading the Google keyboard from the play store helped speed things up a bit but it still lags badly and misses a lot of letters while typing. I've had to go back many times in this review to add the missing letters because you press the keyboard but it sometimes doesn't register what you type. There is a screen protector applied to the screen when you buy it. Removing this screen protector may improve the touchscreen for typing although i haven't tried to do that on my tablet yet.

Web browsing can be slow at times. Other times it is acceptable. It is definitely more laggy than the current ipad models.

Speaker quality is another low point of this tablet. Speaker quality is terrible and is much worse than on my previous tablet. It is also much worse than on my Xiaomi mi4c phone. I was going to rate this tablet 4 stars but just thinking about how terrible the speakers are has made me knock the rating down to 3 stars. The speakers are very tinny indeed. Surprisingly, blocking the speaker holes with tape improves the sound quality by making them less tinny and more bearable. They are still terrible though. Probably the worse on any device I've had. At least the tablet has a headphone jack, unlike the latest iPad and iPhone which don't have any.

The final problem i have with this tablet is that it assigns just 8GB storage to android and there is no way to increase that other than repartitioning the drive and reinstalling the operating systems which I'm certainly not prepared to do. I thought that plugging in a 64GB micro SD card into the tablet and moving apps to it would solve this problem, but i found out to my extreme disappointment that Google no longer allows apps to be moved to the SD card. They did allow it on earlier versions of android but then Google got greedy and wanted to charge for extra storage on their devices, so i am disgusted with Google's money grabbing behaviour. Chuwi are also to blame for only assigning a measly 8GB to android. The rest of the space goes to windows, but i don't use windows much on this tablet.

In conclusion, it is a good value tablet as long as you use Windows a lot. I bought it cheap on Aliexpress direct from Chuwi during a sale. I wouldn't pay the extortionate prices resellers are charging for it on Amazon though.

Pros:
Excellent high resolution screen
Good battery life
Good charging speed
Reversible USB C charging port
Micro SD card slot
No bloatware
Dual boot windows and android

Cons:
Not as fast as i was expecting it to be
Laggy keyboard
Heavy for a tablet
A measly 8GB storage space assigned to Android
Terrible speaker quality

Remington NE3450 Nose and Ear Trimmer - Black/Blue
Remington NE3450 Nose and Ear Trimmer - Black/Blue
Price: £7.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Best one I've tried, 20 Dec. 2016
I can't believe the amount of nonsense being spouted in a few of the 1 star reviews about this item.

This is probably the best trimmer on the market because it doesn't pluck or pull on the hairs like other nose trimmers do. If you use the blue attachment it just shaves off the hairs without pulling on them. You're not supposed to pluck the hairs of the nose because it is bad for you, so this is the right product to use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing special, 8 Dec. 2016
I saw a south African on YouTube bragging about how good this stuff was, so I was curious to try it. It's ok but is nothing special.

You can also get this from small local foreign food shops. I would go to one of those to buy it as you won't have to pay postage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helps free you from being shackled to the kitchen, 8 Dec. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very impressed with it so far. It cuts down cooking time by half and allows you to get away from being shackled to the kitchen all the time. You can leave it to cook and automatically shut down, while you go away to do other things with your time. Great! Only issue I have is that it takes up too much space in a small kitchen.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother with the one advertised on TV. Get this instead., 8 Dec. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Don't bother with the similar looking one that's advertised on TV. Just get this instead. This is much better than my Samsung corded 2400W vacuum cleaner. A lot lighter too. It picks up way more dust and especially hairs than my corded vacuum does. It has a rotating brush which picks up hairs that my other vacuum cleaner leaves behind on carpets. The Which? magazine award it has is well deserved. It's the best vacuum cleaner I've ever owned but it's not perfect. It doesn't clean to the edges and changing to the hose is not easy and it loses a lot of suction when you put the hose on. The Dyson V8 is probably better, but that's £400.

3.0 out of 5 stars Expensive for what it is, 23 Sept. 2016
The price is too high for what it is. I had Ergoflex before this and it had denser, more expensive memory foam than the Eve, yet it was cheaper. Same with some Snug mattresses. The reason for this is that you are paying for the very expensive advertising campaign and for the generous return policy.

The denser the memory foam, the longer the mattress will last. The Eve has 50kg density memory foam which is not recommended as it will not last long. These are not built to last. They are built to keep people happy in the first year when most reviews are written. But one advantage of the less dense Eve is that it is cooler than the ergoflex. It is still not as cool as a spring mattress or a latex mattress though. The eve is also more bouncy than the Ergoflex.

The cover of the eve is almost totally made of a synthetic material. I expected better at this price. My current mattress is a pocket sprung mattress with no synthetic materials apart from the fire retardant. Kilos of cotton and wool padding on it and it cost around the same as this eve mattress, which is almost totally made up of chemicals. I don't consider that to be good value for money for the Eve mattress.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sony originals last twice as long as this, 15 Sept. 2016
Unlike most reviewers here, especially those who gave it 5 stars, I have actually taken the trouble to time how long this battery lasts and to put it up against the original Sony battery.

This battery is a cheap alternative to the original Sony battery, but it doesn't last anywhere near as long. The original Sony battery lasts about twice as long as this between charges.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not suitable for short people, 6 Sept. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This stick is not suitable for short people of around 5 feet tall or less. The minimum height setting is just too big for short people. To fix this I removed one of the metal pieces that make up the stick. It was tricky to remove it and it took about half an hour, but after it was done the stick was much shorter and was perfectly suitable for both the shorter person and still fine for taller people to use as well. Apart from this problem, that I have not had with any other sticks, the stick was fine and is very good quality.
