Official Universal Media Remote for PlayStation®4 - PlayStation 4
Official Universal Media Remote for PlayStation®4 - PlayStation 4
Offered by Game-Vault
Price: £31.99

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 14 Aug. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Doesn't work as a normal remote in that you have to press the PS button after leaving it idle for a few minutes to reactivate it. Therefore very difficult to pause shows effectively.

Also no good if you want to use it for the BBC iPlayer app as it doesn't work with this at all.

However, it seems to be the only "official" remote on the market.

Update - 8 months after purchasing the item it stopped working. The seller (Netro) has refused to supply a replacement or repair it so I am logging an issue with Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, 25 Feb. 2012
Really, really pleased with our purchase. We definitely wanted a sleeping bag that could separate into singles which this does perfectly. We both regularly get too hot in bed so having the ability to unzip either side to get cool was a definite must. That said it's also very thick and soft and will definitely keep us warm when we need it to. Would definitely recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best album of 1998, 17 Feb. 2009
Perhaps remembered through rose tinted spectacles but this was always my choice for greatest album of 1998. I was in my second year at University and Tripping Daisy's flower-power pop rock melodies, bouncing beats and sweet and touching lyrics were an inspiraton to my new found freedom. Highlights such as the touching opening and epic finale of "Waited a Light Year" and the greatest ever track to listen to before a date "Mechanical Breakdown" (you and me are going out tonight, there's a million different ways to make it wrong so let's make it right!) are just a couple of the high points. Sadly not long before the death of guitarist Wes Berggren this was Tripping Daisy's pinacle achievement. Tim deLaughter of course went on to creat the also beautiful Polyphonic Spree with some of the other members from this album - also worth a listen!

Worlds Enough & Time: Five Tales of Speculative Fiction
Worlds Enough & Time: Five Tales of Speculative Fiction
by Dan Simmons
Edition: Paperback
Price: £11.19

5.0 out of 5 stars Great short story collection, 17 Feb. 2009
Loved this little collection of short stories. Have been a Dan Simmons fan for a while now and these are generally very different to the epic sized novels he also writes. This is still a great introduction to his writing though and if you like it I suggest you invest in (both financially and timewise) in the fantastic Hyperion/Endymion series. Absolutely marvellous stuff!!

Very atmospheric and innovative. Definitely one for the more forward thinking jazz listeners out there. A great talent that will be sadly missed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Album review, 17 Feb. 2009
This review is from: Polar Bear (Audio CD)
This latest album review is another interesting listen from the great guys from Polar Bear. Personally preferred the previous album "Held on the Tips of Fingers" but there are still enough enjoyable moments to this record. For the full experience though you really should try and get to see them live. I saw them at a small venue in Leicester and even entered a little oriental food based banter with Seb Rochford the drummer. Man it's a good thing he knows his beats better than he knows his dim sum!

2.0 out of 5 stars Stress relief, 17 Feb. 2009
Not bad but to be honest I've heard and used better relaxation methods than this one. I would try shopping around a bit before selecting this as your first choice. That said, this is a very personal issue and purely down to taste so don't just listen to me!
