1.0 out of 5 stars Blew Up After 3 Weeks, 21 Sept. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Worked fine for almost 3 weeks then blew up. Lucky it didn't take my phone out with it, and lucky it didn't cause a fire.
The first and only time I've had a charger blow up on me, but then it's the first and only time I've had a charger that wasn't the phone maker's own.
Won't be getting a replacement, will be getting a proper Motorola one.

1.0 out of 5 stars No Use On Android Marshmallow, 20 Dec. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Does not work with Android 6 (Marshmallow). As all 5 of our phones/tablets are on Marshmallow, that makes this device useless. Nowhere in the product description does it warn of compatibility issues. "Only" £18 so I'll hang on to it in case an update comes along.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good music, stupid quiz show., 16 Aug. 2015

This review is from: New Order Story [DVD] [2005] (DVD)
Decent but ruined by the Keith Allen "Quiz Show" which is frankly bizarre and has no real place on the video. The music is great and some of the interviews insightful.

4.0 out of 5 stars On The Small Side, 16 Aug. 2015

6 cup? They'd have to be tiny cups. I'd suggest this size does 4 cups, or two mugs if you want to do a cappuccino or latte.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good While It Lasted, 16 Aug. 2015
Worked well while it worked (about 18 months) but then stopped taking a charge itself, after which it was obviously useless. When it worked we could charge our phones (Google Nexus 5) about 4 times from one charge of it and it was fairly light and convenient to carry (in a handbag/backpack).

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Book, But Full Of Editing Errors, 27 July 2015
A fascinating book full of facts and figures about the tour from its inception up to fairly recent times (2013). It's an easy read, with short chapters and regular sub-chapter headings, chronicling each year's tour and interspersing it with "trivia" and births & deaths of tour greats.
The book was first published in 2007 and has had a 2013 revamp, either in a genuine attempt to bring it up to date or, more likely, in order to cash in on British success that has followed since its first publication. Unfortunately this revamp is a real hash - for all it mentions Cav, his green jersey and all his stage wins, and Wiggo's tour victory, no attempt has been made to update any of the tables in the book, so for instance the list of record number of stage wins in the book does not include Cav. In addition, every chapter sub-heading in the revised section proclaims "2012" even when it's talking about 2009 or 2011, which is just bad editing. In fact bad editing abounds. Page 22 of the book tells me that in 1918 a Tunisian rode the TdF wearing a fez. Page 52 tells me that in 1936 an Algerian became the tour's first African rider. Was Tunisia not in Africa in 1918? There must have been some massive continental drift in the intervening years. Other errors include such statements as WWII breaking out in 1914, Vinokourov being Azerbaijani, stating that 434ft is 700m, and making the frankly ridiculous claim that Jonathan Boyer, the first American to ride the tour, turned up at the start line with 23kg of nuts & dates stuffed into his jersey pockets. I'd liked to have seen that - you'd be lucky to pack that into panniers, let alone a bike jersey pocket.
All of these amusing, but to me annoying, errors aside, I still enjoyed the book and learned quite a bit. Mainly that doping has been part and parcel of the tour from its inception to the present day, and each successive attempt to prove that it is now clean has just led to further embarrassment. Here's hoping that the next embarrassment doesn't come from someone close to our hearts.
