5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Customer! - It works with my Nikon D3200.DSLR camera, as a fully functioning field monitor for shooting videos., 13 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I love this monitor! - I have a Nikon D3200 DSLR camera, and wanted a larger monitor for shooting videos. - Using an android app didn't work, despite what youtube clips suggest. The app shut down, as soon as I hit record. - Other, cheaper monitors, connected by AV cables also were no use either. This monitor, connected by mini HDMI cable to standard HDMI works perfectly. - I can record video, and see what I'm filming on a 7 inch screen, with great controls, and even a sun shade included.
As others have said, there is no battery supplied, but you have the option of powering the unit from the mains, or by rechargeable battery. - Canon LP-E6 batteries fit one of the possible, back mounted, clip-on charger plates. They are expensive, so get a clone battery. - I chose Duracell DR9943 batteries, which I can charge in my universal (moveable pins) battery charger. The other charger plate takes Sony batteries, I think, so you have that option too. The monitor is a very high quality for the price, with HD lcd display. The unit is quite sturdy, The battery pack mount screws on, and the unit attaches to the supplied 'hot-shoe plate', or the supplied tripod mount.
After a lot of frustration, trials and errors, and a lack of information online, regarding field monitors that I could actually use , and also useless, expensive android tablet apps (they only seem to work for some Canon cameras), I chose the Bestview. I am delighted with this monitor, and have uploaded a YouTube video of it attached to my camera rig.
This is an honest review of a great product, and I wasn't paid to say that, or given any kind of discount. I'm just a happy customer!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best action camera for under £60, 25 Feb. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Great value for money. Pros: Better than the other 'action cameras' I use for work, (including the Gopro Hero 4 black) for a number of reasons. - Sound quality / the LCD screen and ability to play back clips without using the app / simple menu on the onscreen settings and controls / button control response is less stiff than the GoPros / doesn't seem to get as hot as the GoPros / amazing price for such a good camera. / all the mounts included are as good as, or better than those I got with my GoPros
The cons: Battery life is slightly less when shooting at 1080p 30fps compared to GoPro Hero 3 and Kaiser Baas. Worth buying a spare battery or 2 / the android app isn't that great, and won't work on my xperia phone (GoPros app does). / the waterproof casing is a bit flimsy and the latch has a tendency to twist / doesn't seem to work with a 64gb class 10 memory card (As with all action cameras, you need to be sure the micro SD card you use is compatible. Most problems I have had with all my cameras have been card issues, not camera faults) / The 4k claim may be misleading. The frame rate for this setting (10fps) produces video that is decent, but not as good as the 4k settings on the GoPro Hero 3 or Hero 4, which have a higher frame rate. Having said that, the image quality, particularly using the 1080p, 60fps setting is excellent. - I have filmed a music promo and an hour long live gig, with this camera in my kit, in the last month, and it has exceeded my expectations.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not cello strings!, 7 Jan. 2016

I received a set of 'Spock' violin strings, rather than the listed cello strings I had ordered. For such a low price, and a long delivery time, it seemed pointless to return the package.

5.0 out of 5 stars A taste of the blues from one of rock's greatest voices., 6 Jan. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ann has the blues on this EP. Her voice is emotional, powerful and, in places, movingly beautiful. A step away from Heart, similar to the 'Hope and Glory' album of 2007, but, perhaps, without the protest song feel of that offering. This is great. Every track is worthy of praise. The highlight for me though is the cover of Buffalo Springfield's 'For What It's Worth', which draws you in, with a great arrangement, that almost makes you forget the original. Ann has a fantastic singing voice. Here she shows it. Hopefully there will be an album to follow this impressive taster.

4.0 out of 5 stars Songs from the Heart., 6 Jan. 2016

This review is from: Hope and Glory (MP3 Download)
The greatest female voice in rock music, solo, (with a little help from sister Nancy and a few friends up for duets, like Elton John, Rufus Wainright and Alison Krauss), in a step away from the 'Heart' sound from 2007 showing a bluesy, bluegrass, more mature perhaps, soulful side, with a great choice of cover versions. The theme seems to be war, and the album feels like a heartfelt anti-Bush protest. Ann handles it all well, with Pink Floyd's 'Goodbye Blue Sky', CCR's 'Bad Moon Rising' and Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song' being re-interpreted nicely. A few tracks will take a second listen to appreciate, perhaps, but overall, it works well. Ann's voice is strong and appealing, and her confidence gives the album the strength needed for both the subject matter and the song choices.

Ticked all the boxes. Heavier than their previous albums, yet retaining a folk-ey, acoustic feel. Psychedelia for this century. The combination of Sean and Charlotte's vocals is wonderful, and several tracks are instant hits. (Animals and Too Deep are my favourites).

Their fathers were legends in the world of Bluegrass, now Don Wayne and Dale Reno, (perhaps best known from the band Hayseed Dixie) and Mitch Harrell have produced this fantastic album. The playing is superb, the vocal harmonies are beautiful, and the choice of songs is excellent. I'm sure their dads would be proud.

Essential viewing. Superb cast. Funny, moving, serious and beautifully written and performed. - If you watch it, and genuinely don't like it, you have no soul, and I'll personally give you your money back! BBC Scotland need to screen this again, and make something as perfect.

AnaÔs never fails to deliver. Previous albums such as 'Young Man In America' and her masterpiece, the folk-opera 'Hadestown' have been valuable contributions to American music. Her voice, her guitar playing and her songwriting are all beautiful. - Now she has tackled 7 traditional folk songs from the UK, ballads collected by the folklorist Francis James Child, at the end of the nineteenth century. With the talented Jefferson Hamer, these familiar songs are re-worked and re-told, (as folk tales always were, surely?) and the end results are a joy. A great introduction to British folk songs, and also a great introduction to AnaÔs Mitchell's work for anyone yet to discover it. She's fantastic.
