This book grabbed me after a few pages and the more I read, the harder it got to put down. Love the whole concept.

I liked the way the story was told as a blog. Fast paced and fun. Will look for next in series.

The ending seemed flat, as if the author had to rush off somewhere. Shame, as it really gripped me up until the too abrupt end.

Not a fan of romance novels but this did keep me reading to the end. Found some of the interactions too unbelievable but all in all it was an enjoyable if rather predictable read.

A light read but thought provoking as well . Could have been improved by proof reading. Enjoyed it none the less.

Excellent for the price. The frame is very sturdy and fairly straight forward for two people to put together.

I bought this book for my teenager and ended up reading it myself too. We moved to Newcastle 4 years ago and to read a story that features real places - many of which we had not discovered - was great! It was also good to read a book featuring home educated teenagers.

I began reading this novel one Friday evening. The evening became early morning and I was still reading. To say that the story grabs you is an understatement. Normally I can read a couple of pages here and there, but this I read from beginning to end over a weekend. There is a wonderful dry humour woven into an exciting adventure and gently evolving love story. That a talking horse can become so real, believable and lovable raises this author into the master story-teller class! That this is a first novel, makes it all the more remarkable. I would love to read more about Elgiva and, ofcourse Grimalkin, the pony!
