5.0 out of 5 stars amazing inspirational book, 30 Mar. 2010
If you're looking for inspiration for journals, collage, workshops etc. then this is the book. No information on "how to's" but page after page of inspirational work. I run regular art workshops and all my participants have been inspired by the work in this book to take their own work further and deeper. This is a book i will use again and again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beyond the Sea of Ice. / corridor of storms, 12 Jun. 2003
Exciting, fast-paced, yes but...
2-dimentional characters, the women particulary flat, having no other insperation in life except to follow their men. The pace is fast and not overly discriptive, but then neither are the characters emotions giving the reader no time to feel 'at one' with them. The amout of bad luck and sticky situations that come their way is unbeliveable, not particulary chanllenging, a bit flat and predicatable.
