5.0 out of 5 stars Even lay readers will understand, 5 Sept. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I decided to pick up this offer, for a simple reason.
I'm 71 years old.
My first and only encounter with a dentist in my first was when I passed my 11 plus in 1957.
Anyone who has been to a school dentist in the 50's will understand, Yearly dental inspection in a grammar school back then.
It's 60 Years ago, but I remember the dentists name, it was Wildgoose.
Awful experience my mam actually slapped him after his callous treatment. Many friends over the years who had been treated by him confirmed
His awful behaviour over the years.
On a road trip in 1964, I had an extraction under gas in Boston in Lincs, i was still scared of Dentists.
In 1974 I had the dubious pleasure of having a dentist nearly climb on top of me, to extract a a rotten, nerve exposed wisdom tooth.
Since then I had six month checkups with him (Peter Rabin in Stanmore), in the next 26 years I had only two, fillings, both with no local.
I live in the East Midlands since 2010, still have my twice yearly checks
I saw this book , and I thought I would have a read, glad I did.
I don't understand all of it , but a lot of it is so well presented that any layman would enjoy this, and a dental nurse should have it in their library.
Lots of hi def photos, all in all a fascinating book
In saying all of this, very much expensive if it's not an essential item for your profession

5.0 out of 5 stars Top gear, 3 Sept. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Been using a babylis for about 4 years, always satisfied me, did the job.!
Being allowed to review this from Amazon, lets me know that I was accepting less than the best!
There are trimmers on Amazon that are three times the price of this, there are also those that are a third of the price.
Imho the people who spend up to £200 quid on a beard trimmer do it because they have money to burn, those who buy the cheapest do so because they are thrifty.
This little boy is below the median, I can only compare it to what I have used over the years, a babylis and a Phillips, both under £20
I cannot fault it, read the specs.
It looks great, it feels great and it does the business, I can't think of any reason to look any further if I was looking to buy another trimmer.
5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars Top quality multi-function product at a great price, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Bosch have been developing quality products for a long time now, and this is no exception. An excellent multi-function wet-dry vacuum cleaner, that works just as well in a simple home environment, or in your workshop, or as a local tradesman.

It has excellent power whether using either functions, and does an excellent job of cleaning with a range of various attachments to help with the process. The storage capacity is great, and it's very easy to handle as well.

Only minor gripe is the initial set-up is a little bit complicated to understand where everything goes and works, but for such a multi-functional bit of kit it deserves the time to learn what it does!!

Considering how much it does as well, great value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid iron, no complaints., 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is an excellent mid range iron with a number of features for a decent price. The design is sleek and attractive with and feels good in your hand, very ergonomically crafted for good efficiency, and minimal discomfort.

Lots of features, including turbo boost and scale collection (the killer of any iron!), and the soleplate is excellent. It really glides across clothes ease, and is added to by the Durilium Airglide Autoclean that is part of the features.

Solid iron that will last at least a good few years, and you'll enjoy using during that time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice ironing board cover with a very pleasant pattern, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Very nice ironing board cover with a very pleasant pattern, will freshen up any old ironing board. Easy to fit if you have the right size board of course, and seems high quality material.

The jury is out on the thermoreflect properties as to whether this actually speeds up ironing by 35%, but the action does feel smoother, and it does seem to make the process easier. But time will tell whether that's reality or my head believing the advertising.

Take note of other reviewers comments on type of iron that can be used with it, very important. Other than that, it's a good product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Works perfectly well for what it's designed to do so. A small, lightweight table or kitchen top ironing board for knocking out a quick shirt in the morning, or if you live somewhere that needs you to save space, so can't have huge ironing boards cluttering up a cupboard.

The non-slip feet are great as well so that it doesn't move around wherever it's placed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap, but reflected in the product, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
On the face of it, a great solution to a mix of problems. All your foil and kitchen roll needs in one place, great! All for a bargain price as well, what could go wrong?

In reality, plenty. While easy enough to assemble on to the wall, the key functionality of it just doesn't work as you had hoped. The cutters themselves aren't particularly great, don't appear to work unless the foil goes in to a specific place, and the type of foil required appears to be quite specific because if you don't use heavy duty it tears when pulling out as the free standing nature means there's too much from pulling the rollers.

It can do the job, but is unnecessarily fiddly to do so, which seems an odd thing for it to be, given that's it's entire purpose for being. It is not expensive though, so it's a question of what you want in the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good...if!, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The pen is nice. Writes well, easy to refill, and has a unique style to it. The finger points are well moulded so for regular lefties this will sit naturally within your fingertips and work very well, so would very much recommend for children who have yet to choose their writing style.

For the lefties who have developed the over the top crooked hand style this pen will make no difference, as your fingers will not naturally go to the moulded points.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but will cause a stir!, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Another garden success for Design Toscano, and quite the size. At over 4 feet high, there's no doubt this will be a conversation starter for anyone who gets to see your home! It's a beautiful piece with lots of lovely detail, and a kitsch charm (the half finished matte paint work on certain parts feels more part of the design than poor workmanship) that really fires the imagination. It has a life like quality that makes you think of Disney movies, and you wonder whether he's suddenly going to start marching around the garden!

Very simple to put together, and not anywhere near as fragile as some fear. Holds his own in windy conditions just fine, been up in our garden over a month and never fell over once.

Yes it's pricey, but it's a standout piece of art that you'll put in your garden and enjoy looking at time and again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality & detail let down by the size, 21 Aug. 2017
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
It's Design Toscano, so you know straight away it's good quality, which it is. Even more so than some of the resin garden moulds, this is a marble resin so feels very solid when you pick it up.

The design itself is fine, but it's not my favourite piece they've done, by a long way. The detail is there but it seems a little caricatureish, as opposed to stately, as you would want a president to look. It also feels weird out of time, just seems odd to be making a Reagan bust in 2017, but maybe that's just me.

The main gripe though is the size to price ratio. It's only about 4" high which is really small to me for a bust, and will struggle to stand out in a room if on it's own...and if you intend to fill a display case with these, that is going to get expensive!

So a good quality piece, but needs to be at least twice the size for the price in my view.
