5.0 out of 5 stars Second Book Just as Good As First, 23 Oct. 2012
Really enjoying this series. It's easy to read. I like how it's not over complicated or too detailed. The characters are the best bit.

Have to say the writer did not disappoint me here. From the first to third (this) book, I really enjoyed the read. And I'm looking forward to the next books in the series, due out next year.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Nice Touch and Tone, 23 Oct. 2012
Good change from the dark, gritty fantasy recently. Lighter tone, fun, enjoyable. Reminded me of the adventures of Indiana Jones (had he a stable partner). Daring escapades and escapes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Deserving of a crown, 23 Oct. 2012
Excellent sequel to a strong beginning. Looking forward to the third installment. Though, why it's recommended to fans of GRRM escapes me, I mean, this is different, darker.

3.0 out of 5 stars A mixed bag., 23 Oct. 2012
For the first time, Abercrombie disappointed me. Didn't like where he was going with this one. Without going into too much, FOR OLD READERS OF ABERCROMBIE'S WORK - don't be expecting anything that can stand toe-to-toe with 'The First Law' Series.
