Socks not thick, leave fluff everywhere not very good quality. Hubby will still wear but has to put on two or three pairs to get a decent thickness for comfort in his boots.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a portable little speaker :), 13 Jan. 2015

Very impressed for such a little device, looks, feels and sounds good quality and the Bluetooth connection works great - easy to set up and still worked when I was a room or a floor away from the device, with walls/doors/ceiling in the way. Volume goes higher than I expected as well - although obviously it doesn't do bass as good as a larger sound system might, for it's size and portability I think this is a great little speaker. Overall totally exceeded what I would expect from such a little device that it fits in my hand. And looks pretty stylish too! Love it and would recommend :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring!, 30 May 2012
This review is from: The Flavour Thesaurus (Hardcover)
This certainly isn't a shiny, glossy, picture perfect cookbook, but it is a door to inspiration and true cooking confidence. If you are the type of cook to wing it, cooking using a pinch of this or that and your good old trusty tastebuds, then this book will knock your socks off.

Also a cracking good read - I enjoy it like one of those choose your own adventure books from the 80's - pick a combination and read until directed to another page. The witty comments and impromptu recipes give a fun and spontaneous feel to the book, and although some entries are not actually discussed much as food combinations, they have (what I consider to be) fascinating bits of trivia (see entry 'Caviar and Banana' as a prime example).

So - no shiny pictures, or clearly laid out recipes, but a trove of cooking combinations and foody wonder.
