I liked this as a sequel - were some horror films forget the original plot and stumble into a new direction, this sticks close to all the bits you liked in the original. This is a sit back and enjoy without asking to many questions type of film experience. There are some small plot holes you could criticise but a good fun follow up.

2.0 out of 5 stars I had to watch this in two halves as throughout the film everybody is talking like Yoda (It's all in Shakespeare talk), 7 July 2014

Ignore the trailer and the reviews on the cover which talk of 'Brilliant', I had to watch this in two halves as throughout the film everybody is talking like Yoda (It's all in Shakespeare talk). If you turn the volume down so you can't here what is being said you get the drift of what is going on, couple of good war style battle scenes in it but that is it - disappointing, even if it had subtitles it might have been more credible, I'm selling mine as it was something I would never dream of watching again.

I liked it but it is not a patch on the original. This one is more of a SAW spin off rather than picking up on the originality of the first. What do you learn in this one that takes you a little deeper in to the mind of the killer - nothing really. Short in length so back story is missed in lots of cases, just seems to want to race to the carnage with the only tangible link being the inclusion of the only survivor from the first film showing them the way to enter the lair of the killer. First film underrated - this one overrated.

2.0 out of 5 stars Its just the same old, same old, 27 Feb. 2014
Having made the mistake previously of buying Black Ops 2 thinking it was going to be amazing, I then made the mistake again thinking this would be an advancement on MW3. If anything this looks more like a re-hash of the first Black Ops and not the same quality of game play at all as MW2 or MW3. Other than contextual lean and the ability to slide on the ground nothing else is new. The landscapes look shaky and cheap, the game is more like a futuristic pre curser to something like Halo. Putting up with it only because I was brought the hardened addition with the DLC pack as part of the price. Once they have come and gone think its back to MW3 for me. Why go futuristic when surely there has been enough conflicts in the World to make a MW4. Think they are now rolling out the same old, same old and reliant on the brand for people to buy it. I certainly don't plan to buy the next release, which I'm sure there will probably be, having now been caught out on this the last few times. Disappointing re hash

3.0 out of 5 stars Its not as good as the others made by the same people, 8 July 2013

Starts dodgy, the creatures are dodgy, the film story line average but if you have nothing to do for a while then get this either that or if you are a young teenager not really lookling for a convincing horror story then go for it. They have made better films since this 'Husk', 'Prowl' being the better ones.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best Shark Film in a Long Time, 8 July 2013

Got this not expecting much, read the story and thought it might be alright - once i put it on, i was gripped for the full length of the film. What a gem of a shark film. This is in a class above a lot of the recent films that have taken on the challenge of the Jaws mantel. Made by the same peole who did in to the deep, this is great with real shark footage used, close camera angles and a genuine sense of fear created by the characters swimming with qactual sharks. If you have been waiting for a good shark film with genuine fear factor then this is the one. Well worth a watch.

I missed a few sequences within the film due to a dodgy copy that jumped 10 min at the beggining - but overall a nice spin on the ghost story in an abandoned jail. Reality TV angle with a twist makes this a refreshing new approach. With thjis and the other films made by the same team they have taken the opportunity to focus on the story, the chills and the atmosphere rather than trying to completely close the story off by the end adn explain it all in ahappy ending. If you like this one try HUSK adn Fertile ground.

If you thought the first one was dissapointing, then prepare to be even more dissapointed. It's difficult to give away any plot spoilers on this one as there isn't really any plot. Watch the first one again and imagine what a sequel would be like rather than buying this.
