Very short book, written with a nice sense of humour. It gives us tips for beginning with polymer clay modelling, with many pictures and explanations. Nice dragons and quite simple, your imagination will fly.

Obviously this was the first book published by the author, I personally prefer the latest. Good book for beginners in clay work and bead making.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must in polymer clay, 7 Aug. 2010
In my opinion this is the best of Donna Kato's books for the moment. Amazing techniques for cane working, very well explained with lots of pictures and tips. It suits for beginners and for experienced clayers. A masterpiece, everyone interested in polymer clay must have it with no doubt.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a book for beginners, 7 Aug. 2010
This book is not a book for beginners in polymer clay at all, as it doesn't include techniques for working with this material, but lots of tips and excercises to learn how to work with colours, how to mix them, how to combine them and so on. Quite a complex book, but very useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most interesting books in polymer clay, 7 Aug. 2010
The book is very complete and gives us lots of ideas and different techniques to work with polymer clay, especially for jewellery, but also for decoration and sculpting. I am enjoying it very much and I recommmend it for other polymer clay addicts like me.
