4.0 out of 5 stars A classic-must, 3 Jan. 2014

There's a bit of everything. I found that it was a very useful introduction to modern Japanese literature. A good starting point for identifying the diffent genres and periods and then by single books...

Lonely Planet Japan (Travel Guide)
Lonely Planet Japan (Travel Guide)
by Brandon Presser
Edition: Paperback

3.0 out of 5 stars Not enough, 3 Jan. 2014

Somehow I think that images are missing. The ones at the beginning are not enough. Japan is such a different world and the language so difficult to read that the best guides are those with images, so that you can better remember the places you've been and it's easier to identify the ones you want to see.
Also the culture sections could be more in depth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Illuminating, 3 Jan. 2014

A series of useful studies on love that cast light on this huge subject. It's not a self help book, it really gives you an insight of the psychological mechanisms behind falling in love.
Recommended if you are interested in the subject.

This review is from: Before the Storm (Audio CD)
You can feel there is a sincere inspiration behind this album. The lyrics are simple and stuck into your head after the first listening. The rhythm is lively. The only thing is that the songs are short, they end up with you wanting more...
