Seems just right, 2 Dec. 2002
This is a very welcome new version of the Numerical recipes books. It does seem to do just the right things you would expect when translating the routines to C++, i.e. introduces matrix classes, including simple operators a.s.o. Also, I like that the default floating point type is now double (instead of float), and indices now running from 0 (instead of one).
I would definitely recommend this book.
