Good web analytics primer, but out of date & incomplete...., 25 Jan. 2011
This is a good in-depth book on Google Analytics, which will take you up to an intermediate/advanced level.
However, 2 things disappointed me -
The book is based around the old GATC, so there is no documentation at all on the asynchronous tagging & gaq_push - just a passing "this is in beta".
Filters are a powerful feature, but are addressed in little more than a section in the "Google hacks" chapter. I'd like to have seen a full chapter devoted to them.
