5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!, 12 Oct. 2012
I can't remember how many times my kids have listened to this.. just great! It is a good listen for young and old alike.

5.0 out of 5 stars Got her reading..., 12 Oct. 2012
Looking for reading material to engage my 10 y/old girl, who is not one to read often enough, I ventured into this book. She loved it! And we have subsequently bought more in the series..

5.0 out of 5 stars You must have.., 12 Oct. 2012

Most of what is in this book, we might have heard before. But read in unison with one another, drives the point harder. The title says it all... read it, apply it, and we might have a healthier generation coming into maturity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good., 12 Oct. 2012

This review is from: Joan of Arc (Paperback)
A good read for 8 -10 y/olds and read-aloud for younger. The pictures are great and the writing gives enough information to not bore the young reader with too much fact.

5.0 out of 5 stars History come alive!, 12 Oct. 2012
A very touchy subject expressed in a well written, easy to read, pleasant manner. Maybe a bit too much time was spent on Christian evolution, but not to the detriment of the book. As some previous reviews indicated, the hardened historian might not like the way this book is written. It is more in "story" form than what you would expect from a standard textbook-like book (which can be such a bore). The writing is factual, engaging and entertaining, the way history should be written.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bravo! Amazing!, 5 Nov. 2010
This is the best I have ever read. Captivating, un-put-downable reading! I did not want it to end, not wanting to depart from this amazing character of Monte Christo. Have never read the other translations, but you can not go wrong with this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not so great, 17 Oct. 2009
It has an unusual setting, but a very run-of-the-mill story line. The prose is typical of mass paper prints. The use of dirty language is very un-tastefull.

After receiving this, my daughter listened to it twice within 24 hours... this must say something. A lovely production indeed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just an average read, 30 July 2008
This review is from: The French Gardener (Paperback)
Having read all of Santa's books so far, this was a great disappointment. With this book she has moved into the "average romance" category, sadly. Her other books transfer you to the setting, where one can sense, smell and almost touch. The French Gardener is so predictable and has an over used story line. The characters are shallow, the setting boring.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must ......, 15 July 2008
This is one amazing book. This is not your "5 Steps to happiness" kind of read, but heart surgery. Things that we all know somehow, but more than often choose to ignore. Buy 10 and give it to your friends! you will do them the biggest favor ever!
