Demon Road (The Demon Road Trilogy, Book 1)

Edition: Paperback
Price: £3.85

5.0 out of 5 stars FAB U LOS, 25 Feb. 2016
I never thought Mr Landy could write a book to compete with the Skulduggery Pleasant series, but, here it is.. scary, exciting, funny and told well. Full of vampires, demons and other monsters, this kept me gripped from start to finish. Cannot wait for part 2.

4.0 out of 5 stars Emerging pattern, 1 April 2015
I am a big fan of James Patterson but have started to find an irritating pattern to his books recently, and I feel a little cheated. All his series of books, (women's murder club, Alex Cross and Michael Bennett) now seem to run in 2 parts so it feels like you are being forced into buying the next part whether you want to or not to find out what happens next. This is obviously a ploy by Mr Patterson to boost his sales and his income. Thankfully, I borrow most of mine from my local library so I am not out of pocket, however it does seem that one tends to forget some of what happened in the first part by the time the second part comes out. Also it also seems that one of the main characters always gets shot but never die. I would really like to see on these characters die as I think it would make the story more real. (Come on James, bump of John Sampson, or Michael Bennett's priest or one of the woman's club characters. Having said that, I still really enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting. Cannot wait for the next part.

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC, 28 Jan. 2014
This is easily the best leap pad game ever. My 5 year old loves it, especially the fact that he can add his own voices and draw his own pictures that become part of the game. Absolutely brilliant and very very clever.

1.0 out of 5 stars What the?, 5 Jan. 2014
This review is from: Mistress (Hardcover)
Just lately James Patterson's books have been taking a steady downward spiral, and this is easily his worse book to date. I could not finish it and was quickly bored with the constant and totally unnecessary president trivia. It never added anything to the story which was already boring and very much like many other of his recent books. I certainly would not recommend this book to any one. Please avoid at all costs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good purchase., 22 Sept. 2013

only really bought this because it was half price, but for once, I would have been happy to have paid full price for it, Although not at all educational it is good fun and my 5 year old loves playing with it. It goes well with the other pieces in the set and is very easy to put together with clear easy to follow instructions. We use the vehicles to race against each other, sometimes with the obstacles and sometimes not. Over all a brilliant, simple little toy that's a lot of fun.

Sparkling Scooby Doo Dracula's Castle Mega Playset with accompanying HSB Storage Bag
Sparkling Scooby Doo Dracula's Castle Mega Playset with accompanying HSB Storage Bag

2.0 out of 5 stars Rip off, 21 Sept. 2013
This toy is actually a lot smaller then we thought it would be. We paid £50 for this from Argos and think it is way overpriced. Not worth more then about £20. it falls apart quite easily and is frustrating having to keep put bits back together, so make sure you keep the instructions. Having said that our 5 year old enjoys it which is the main thing.
