5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun., 30 Mar. 2014

Great fun and interesting for a artist to play with. My daughter also enjoyed using it. We have used it to create images for story time.

5.0 out of 5 stars i love this cup, 31 July 2013
I got this, as a birthday present about 2 months ago, i drink coffee or hot chocolate least 8 times a day; so mug is constantly being used or washed. Image is very sharp. Its not faded or chipped, on the outside, still has handle etc. It still, makes me smile wryly, and crack jokes about having David Caruso in my hands. I have it, as a wry send up of my love of Caruso and why i loved Csi Miami. Enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice picture, 31 July 2013
Nice picture, fits into standard size frame. I like it, its not the sharpest image ever, pixel wise; but its unlikely unless your into photography you'd notice.

4.0 out of 5 stars lot better than expected, 10 Feb. 2013
i was expecting it to be god awful - ordered it because theres only so many supplements a person can take - im allergic to most multivitamins and my diet is increasingly plant based - its not awful. it didnt smell funky. its not unpleasent and after a few days actually you know what, on pasta, beans, soups it adds something really does. i use to pay a lot of money for a vitamin b supplement because as it happens it helps with migraines. this works out cheaper for same result. if youve ever tried vegan shop cheese - thats what i was expecting - instead it kinda tastes little like scrambled egg in stuff.

3.0 out of 5 stars disappointing compared to film, 7 Feb. 2013
This review is from: Forks Over Knives (Paperback)
While i loved the film and cant praise it the film enough, i would not give this book to a meat eater as first choice. I get the arguments it wields and i agree. But on the whole sadly, i found it to be so busy ramming home the ethics, it forgot to concentrate on the very thing that could convince meat eaters to change - the benefits to help. Parts i enjoyed. And i guess if youve never read about farming conditions before it could be an eyeopener.

4.0 out of 5 stars brilliant, 5 Feb. 2013
Maybe it is, because im british but i always struggle a little with american narrators over documentaries. However, having heard a lot about the film i was determined to stick with it despite my tantruming daughter. Its very very rare i will sit down and without multitasking or pausing dvd least five times. For this though, i sat and watched the entire thing. It is a fascinating and logical idea i found - i can see why if you are an avid carnivore and you are the sort of person who does not understand science is often merely agreed on theory, that this film would s**t you up. I dont see how as one person said its 'vegan propaganda'. Its not about why some believe animal eating is wrong. It is in line with dairy intolerence creeping up, with increases with other diseases known to worsen from dairy consumption. Its a good film and i would like to see a second film on the same subject looking at whether not just cancer and diabetes are caused by food but if current rates of autism are skyrocketing as a result of food. I have ordered the china study, book and cookbook as a result of watching this film - unusal for me to be 80% convinced by an arguement but their arguement does matches a lot of other research which hasnt had the same strong scientific testing. I enjoyed it, agreed with it to a large extent im not a vegan or a plant based solely person and i think that watching this with an open mind would certainly prompt you to reexamine how you eat unless your a total idiot anyway. Your not going to watch this and freak out for animals, your going watch this and suddenely realise why governments are terrified of vegans - not because they are miltant or do weird demonstrations, but the law suits that could emerge and the destruction of big business. Because of ethicial ideas vegans may accidently end up destroying western economies and saving millions of western lives if the way they eat takes hold - as this film shows

5.0 out of 5 stars love these books, 5 Feb. 2013
I remember these books from childhood and again im swept away by the writing. Silver brumby books do seem incredibly expensive for a childrens book - but then a lot of kids games these days cost £15 and up pounds. Ive bought these knowing my daughter same as i did,:read them over and over again. Incredibly talented writer - it is.a huge shame the series including very rare and hard to get ones have not been republished in full.

1.0 out of 5 stars hmm, 1 Oct. 2012
it is the bare minimum. i spent 45 mins trying to work out the photos in the instructions and another hour assuming it was me missing something. Bolts and nuts were not right. which led to having to go and.buy some new ones. for the price, i guess it was worth the money. but i am fortunate to live next door to a.bike.mechanic. how it will hold up to daily use, remains to be seen.
