This review is from: Impressionists Tarot Deck (Cards)
This deck brings back memories of a distant high school project I did about the Impressionist Painters, and so I as very pleased to hear from one of my Tarot buddies that it was a good deck to use. Unfortunately it only contained the LWB, but in the meantime I have been able to source the book separately at our annual Tarot Conference. So it is with a degree of fondness that I flip through the art work so cleverly adapted to the tarot cards, and it will be a great addition to my collection and adds another interesting aspect to readings.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Book and Deck by Barbara Moore, 28 Sept. 2014

This review is from: Tarot of the Hidden Realm (Cards)
This is a beautifully illustrated deck with pictures covering the whole of the card, and no borders. Easy to use, and could become a lovely first deck for beginners, or an addition to any collector's repertoire! I shall look forward to being around this deck for many years and readings to come. The accompanying book written by Barbara Moore, who I had the pleasure in meeting once at a Tarot Conference in Birmingham, is a joy to read, and the Majors and Minor sections all have a picture (though not in colour) of the appropriate card. This is a well-written and good-sized book, and a pleasure to read. All in all, I would heartily recommend this deck and book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for beginners, 13 Feb. 2014

This is such an informative book covering all the basics of Homeopathic treatment. It is suitable for beginners, but interesting to read even if you are a qualified Homeopath! It is written in easy to understand language, and would be a good little book to hand out to new patients. It all made a great deal of sense to me, and helped to de-mystify this very important discipline.

5.0 out of 5 stars ~A good look at why we find things/people disgusting, 29 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It has to be said that this book and its contents provided our family and friends with a good laugh when we all did the test at the back of the book. The test is aimed at finding out how we rate the disgust we feel when presented with certain situations. After we had all made the appropriate noises and pulled faces as we imagined and rated some of the situations in question, we were all absorbed in a great debate as we read out our results. It is a book which makes you think about your reactions, both historically and day-to-day. Who would have thought such past reactions could possibly be carried forward to future generations? Well worth a read, and a useful addition to the Psycotherapist's library!

5.0 out of 5 stars Homeopathic Rose Quartz, 29 Nov. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book had been created by Peter L Tumminello the author of "Twelve Jewels", which is in itself an amazing collection of information regarding the twelve gemstones which he has chosen to write about. Although pricey, this hardback book is beautifully written and illustrated, and is a joy to read for the Homeopath, student or otherwise interested person. I'm guessing it would also be of interest to Gemmologists as well. However, having written this previous work, he now presents us with "Rose Quartz......Garden of the Heart", as he came to realise that a "thirteenth jewel" needed to be included. He has presented this to us as another (but much smaller) hardback edition full of interesting and valuable information for the homeopath, giving us an in-depth picture of the possibilities of prescribing this remedy in individual cases, which it gives good examples of. A good read, and recommended.

This review is from: Tarot Deck of Heroes (Cards)
Lovely illustrations on this delightful deck, but I felt it was more suited to my son's use than mine - there was a "cartoon" feel to the characters (male, muscled heroes - the like of which you might find in a computer game). So I have given it to him to use.

Inner Magic: A Guide to Witchcraft

Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Inner Magic: A good basic starter book, 18 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a good basic starter book for people interested in the Wiccan path. It does not address the reader in more depth than they require at the introductory stages, but at the same time the writer makes clear what the guidelines are for the reader who might want to take their studies further.

Such a funky little tin! It can be carried around anywhere - in a pocket, handbag, etc. The cards are smaller than the standard deck, and still retain all the details of the larger ones. This is a fun deck with a Halloween slant - a lovely addition to your collection. I would suggest it's better for intermediates - but beginners would be able to understand also.
