Lurch Spirali 10203 Vegetable Spiralizer Green/Cream
Price: £27.24

5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful, 16 Dec. 2012

It is a great innovation in my kitchen habits.
The ability of making spaghetti out of zucchini alone would justify the expense to me. But it does plenty of other transformations to my vegetables. I recommend it heartily.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great reference with plenty of practical examples, 3 Nov. 2010
Highly recommended. If you want to develop MySQL extensions, buy this book. It's a must, written by two expert professionals who probably know more than anyone else on this matter. The book is full of practical examples explained with the theoretical information necessary to make it stick.

1.0 out of 5 stars A great disappointment, 29 Nov. 2009
This review is from: Her Fearful Symmetry (Hardcover)
After reading "The Time Traveler's wife" I had great expectations for this book.
It was clear from the beginning that the novel wasn't going to work. Stereotype characters and an impossible plot made it hard to digest. As the story progressed, and I kept reading only out of respect for her previous novel, the disappointment grew heavier.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding storytelling, accurate history, 20 Aug. 2005
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is one of those books that make you love history.
Asbridge tells a captivating story giving out all the details that a true historian should put into the narrative, but without the boring parts.
The book is as gripping as a novel from the first to the last page, and in every page you can appreciate the thorough research, the lack of speculation, the objectivity of facts presentation.
At the end of the book, you have a full image of what happened, with the documented, objective facts clearly distincted from the legends that have surrounded this epic for centuries.
Highly recommended.
