3.0 out of 5 stars Poor nuts, 17 Sept. 2017

The brackets are ok, easy to wall mount, padlocks are cheap and will corrode outside, the supplied expanding bolts are rubbish and upon tightening the shaft split in the hole, rendering it unusable. Also the padlock eyes do not line up. Easily solved by buying some quality padlocks and expansion bolts.

5.0 out of 5 stars So much fun with a great battle system, 15 July 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have played this up to lv26 for Van and absolutely love it, great RPG! I won’t talk about the story as not to spoil its enjoyment but after a fast paced intro which reminds me of a mix of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, you set off on your adventure. Usual FF mechanic of baddy attacks peace loving neighbour, hero steps in to save the day :-)

Graphics are good, reminds me a bit of Fable with that 'glow’ effect that makes the world vibrant. Music is excellent and voice acting as well in 5.1. Areas are small but load times between areas is short so no problem. Enemies can been seen wandering about and the colour bar above them indicates their aggression level, green is ok, yellow a few levels higher and red very hard (thanks to S Potter). Slowing tough enemies usually works well.

Initially combat is the usual fare of physical and magic attacks via the menu, but then I worked out how to use Gambit and most fights are automatic! This is a set of rules you setup per character. So Foe-Any, Attack is self explanatory but you mix in other ones above this like Ally-HP <50%, Cure so your health can be replenished. This system makes the tedium of grinding a joy as you zip around automatically crushing mobs and picking up loot.

Also I go round in 2x speed mode. As you gain XP your characters level up but also gain 'License points’. These are like skill points and you can spend them to get extra buffs like Swiftness (increased action speed) and Magic Potency (strength of magic spells). Grinding early on I made my party strong so even a basic Fire spell does a lot of damage.

You can also spend License Points on 'Quickenings’ which are a special attack per character. These can be chained together from the 'Mist’ menu and are useful to take on bosses or a tough mob.

A nice touch is party members can be swapped in and out of combat, especially useful against a tough boss like Demon Wall ;-p I have 6 characters and 4 is the max party size. Small negative is camera is 'wobbly’ and it's better to lockon a target in combat sometimes.

All in all a VERY enjoyable RPG with a complex Gambit system for battles, great story and different environments with original level design (Ogir-Yensa Sandsea), buy it RIGHT NOW and enjoy its Gaming Goodness! :-D

5.0 out of 5 stars Noticeably faster than my old USB2 Drive, 8 Jun. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I used this on my PS4 Pro as backup for my saves and games. Installing is very easy although the PS4 wants you to install it as Extended Storage which allows you to run games off it. Not what I wanted and after a bit of head scratching I saw the Options button which gave me the option to format the drive as exFAT. Copying game saves to it on USB3 is noticeably quicker than my old 500GB Seagate USB2 drive (with external power).

The unit itself is tiny and how they fit 4GB in it is simply magic :-) Ultra quiet operation and does not get hot. Backing up all my saves of 5GB took a few minutes while a PS4 Backup of 470GB took around 2 hours. Used a ‘LINDY 1m USB 3.0 Cable - Type A Male to Micro-B Male, Black’ with it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Uninspiring and over-priced, 7 Jun. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this with an expectation of an engaging adventure but after 6 hours was left disappointed. The first thing to perplex me was the icon on the PS4 home screen which was for ESO and not Morrowind, so I assume this is a DLC type addon, but then why charge over £40 for it?

After the initial mission you are on the continent and able to lose yourself in the world. Graphics and sound are okay, nothing ground breaking, I would have liked some inspiring background music playing aka Skyrim. The map is too small and you cannot easily see the icons, also there is no minimap which can be frustrating trying to navigate. Monsters stand out in a red highlight so you can distinguish them from other players and NPC’s.

Quest design is uninspired and is of the type, talk to person x, then talk to y, fetch item z, talk to someone else, enter dungeon, fight mobs, kill boss at the end, pickup mission item. If you spend any time in the inventory screen the mobs respawn after a minute so you notice you are taking damage, quit out of inventory and see you are surrounded by them again. It feels artificial and frustrating.

Overall not worth £40, more like £20, returned for a refund. By contrast, Skyrim is a fantastic adventure and well worth trying, the Daedric Quests are great :-)

2.0 out of 5 stars Laggy combat, enemies are unexciting, 27 April 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very disappointed with this game, the actual combat of swinging a wrench makes me feel sick as the game is laggy. The actual enemies I have to say are uninspiring and boring, not a patch on the superior System Stock’s enemies which were inventive. The intro is nicely done and graphics and sound are of good quality. I have cancelled my pre-order as it's not worth the full price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great JRPG with Memorable Characters, 24 Mar. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Been playing this for 40 hours and to level 57 and really like it. You play as an Android 2B, 9S or A2 and are trying to take back Earth from the Evil Aliens that stole it from humanity!, Grrrr. The game is original in that once you finish it you start over playing as another Android and additional parts of the world open up. While there is some repetition the story unfolds like the skin of an onion, peeling back layer after layer of gaming goodness.

The androids battle mechanoids on Earth that have been created by those filthy aliens, some of these like the Goliath class are Godzilla like Massive, towering machines of mechanised destruction, multiple attacks to your puny Android. Combat however is great as it rewards your evasion rolls with counters and each weapon you get and upgrade has combos. In fact one of the nicest parts of the game is your Pod companion, a mini hovering robot looking like a floating PS console. These little fellows have a great range of Pod Programs you can use, my favourite being Mirage which does AoE damage around you to a mob or a huge boss.

A negative is there is not enough CPU slots, it's limited to 128, and I have to compromise on what abilities to put on 9S or 2B. EXP bonus is mega useful as is Shock Wave and increased enemy drops. Later vendors have excellent skills like Bullet Evasion which slows down time when an enemy projectile is closer to you and Auto Pickup which allows you to sprint round hoovering up goodies. 2B is more combat focussed while 9S loses a weapon for a hacking skill, you can augment this with specific hacking skills. Initially weapon upgrades are limited to lv3 but once you find Masamune you get the final kickass upgrade, yes!

The Japanese developers do a great job of humanising the robots and Androids, so instead of a monotonous Terminator you get machines that feel pain, fall in love, want to make themselves look beautiful (hard boss fight!) and so on. There are a ton of side missions that are all quite interesting and not the usual 'fetch x item from area y’ tediousity. Set in another post apocalyptic environment the game looks very good with an excellent sound track, the desert music reminds me a bit of Borderlands.

Very interesting game with additional content that opens upon on subsequent playthroughs, original and soulful melancholic world, highly recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Horrible Combat and Plain Boring, 24 Mar. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Well what a letdown from the heights of Horizon Zero Dawn and Nier Automata, the latest Mass Effect is a real mess. Combat is just horrible, nothing fluid about it, move from cover to cover and kill Ket, that’s it, terrible. The initial story is good and then it goes stale, tons of dialogue from wooden faced NPC’s that look PS3-esque, what should have been a mind-blowing story of Stellar Colonisation becomes a turgid slug fest.

Graphically and aurally it's very good and you can customise your own and team mates skill points, a nice touch. Weapons are the usual fare so not much originality there. Your character is pretty bland. I’m thinking of returning this title as it is just so boring.

It doesn’t hold a fig to Horizon Zero Dawn and it's enthralling story and fantastic lead in Aloy. As I finished that game completely I’m going back to Nier Automata and having a blast with 9B and 2S up to level 57 and Mirage Pod Program Rocks! :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Move over Lara Croft!, 1 Mar. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A worthy rival to The Witcher 3, Horizon Zero Dawn offers similar gameplay set in a unique might and magic universe. Played for 6 hours up to level 7 and it has a very interesting story, starting as a baby Aloy the story slowly unfolds in an understated fashion with a tinge of poignancy, as the child discovering the first ancient site with its mummified occupants and melancholic audio recordings and onto her ostracization by the tribe.

Graphically and aurally the game rocks and looks fantastic on my PS4, 50” Samsung HDTV, 5.1 setup. Weapons and armour can be modified through enemy drops so weapons can have added damage (fire, shock, etc). Combat is satisfying as it employs stealth to creep up on enemies, distraction to lure an enemy close and scanning for weak spots. You use a bow to attack from afar and press R1 or R2 for melee attacks when they close in in you. Later you can buy a trap weapon, that lays an electric shock wire that stuns enemies (useful for the larger and more dangerous ones), or a slingshot for lobbing AoE ammo.

Facial animation is excellent and on a par with Witcher 3, way better than Fallout 4 or Skyrim which were quite wooden. Also Aloy is a far more likeable character than Geralt who was very robotic, having humour and a wistfulness I find endearing. The fantastic tracking mechanic from The Witcher 3 has been implemented in some of the side quests, and it is unnerving to be following the track (by scanning with R3) only to wander into a tough mob for a memorable fight! Dialogue options are easily managed by the controller and at certain event points in the game you have the option to choose your response (fight, avoid confrontation or intelligent response).

There are lots of side quests, some crop up as you explore the first area, as well as the main plot line. Levelling is through killing enemies and completing quests, this gives you 1 point to spend in the Skills tree. This tree is easy to understand and later skills give you increased booty drops, extra melee damage and so on. The Amazon pre-order set gives you a stealthy suit to wear and a better bow, better handling stat. There are a couple of traders initially you can sell/buy to.

All in all a really good game with high production values, no bugs yet and plays smoothly, with no loading screens! A satisfying mix of stealth and all out mayhem at times. As in the Tomb Raiders there is a fair amount of climbing and rappelling. Beautiful world to explore with mysterious mechanoids and ancient ruins, wicked! :-D

Update, the game gets better and better, climbing your first tall strider is amazing and the vantage points open up the history of the game with excellent holo images. Some traders sell unique 'maps' which layer onto the world map, more locations to explore. Loving it :-D

4.0 out of 5 stars Painless WiFi Setup and Works Reliably, 25 Feb. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to replace a cheap £30 unit that did not work reliably. Installation was a piece of cake and it connected wirelessly to my router with no problems. The Android app Eye4 actually works on my Nexus II tablet which is way better than a small mobile phone screen. Slotting in a Sandisk 32GB microSD card allows the cam to motion capture onto it. I went for the SD resolution which is fine.

The cam is inside my utility room looking through a small hole in the blind slats onto the drive/front door area, through double glazing. Now this unit allows you to turn off the IR light ring so at night the cam isn’t blinded by reflection. It also comes with a good wall mount and all the interfaces are on the back of the unit, including the reset slot. The power lead is fairly long at 3 feet, I bought a 5m extension power lead which will allow me to finalise the installation.

Left on overnight and it was still working fine next day. The Eye4 app will occasionally 'stop working’ and need to be closed and opened. The motion capture videos last for approx 30s and can be viewed on a day by day basis by their time stamp. The viewing screen is not great and shows approx ⅔ of the image, the dev’s need to playback full screen and then switch back to list mode. Good alerting setup to one of my email accounts.

Overall a well designed cam with a good feature set, painless setup and quite good app software 'Eye4’. Way better than a £30 dog 😘

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish Manual and Loses WiFi Frequently, 22 Feb. 2017
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to check the front door and drive area. The unit itself has a cheap finish and the reset is on the bottom base. Installation is the usual Chinglish nightmare, the manual does not describe one setting, instead it gives you a lot of bumpf on connecting it to your phone. After wasting an hour trying to get this unit to connect by WiFi I plugged in the LAN cable and it connected immediately, great…

The Android app yyp2p has a lot of functionality, none of which is explained at all, wonderful… The camera loves to disconnect throughout the day and the phone app gives you the helpful message 'abnormal network’. All my other wireless devices work fine, tablet, printer, PS4 and mobile. The only abnormality is the rubbish unit. Also the app will not install on my Android tablet, very useful again. There is no way to turn off the IR lights so at night (I have external security lights) the motion detection does not work due to glass reflection, wonderful design …

So I am returning it and will try to find a better unit, with a manual written in English explaining the settings, useless POS.
