I love this, as I love everything moominy!

Everyone should know about the moomins.

This is my favourite of the moomin series.

3.0 out of 5 stars SHORT!, 18 Sept. 2011
This is just one short story about everyone's favourite schoolboy, Just William.
It should be in a collection, not on its own as it is so short.

4.0 out of 5 stars Strange..., 18 Sept. 2011
This book is about Rafe, a 6th grader in middle school. He finds it boring, so he comes up with a challenge; OPERATION R.A.F.E (rules aren't for everyone).
He plans it with Leo the silent, his dead brother who he imagines is still alive.
This is a funny read for 10-13 year olds, and I recommend it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Gets worse, 18 Sept. 2011
This book gets worse as Sugar gets more successful . It was around 4-5 stars at the start, but around halfway it slipped to a 3. The end: 2, as you can see.

4.0 out of 5 stars Moving, 4 Sept. 2011
Full of moving and enticing speeches, these range from speeches made in court, to the iconic speeches that will last forever.
Good for projects at school or for a fun general read.
These speeches are ones to be said aloud, as I did, in many a loud and rather strange voice.
For readers of all ages - that's for sure!
Some boring speeches, unimportant ones, stopped it from getting 5 stars, but it was good all the same.

5.0 out of 5 stars HE HE!, 26 Aug. 2011
This is SO FUNNY! Especially the part about the office with a view, and the new mac blocking his 'lovely view' and also each time he played scrabble, his grandma gave him a crisp £50 note.
A real toe tingler this had me laughing all the way.

A must read for fans of the man or those wanting a laugh.
(I was both)!

5.0 out of 5 stars Morse-tastic, 26 Aug. 2011
I have to say, this book was fabulous, a Morsey delight.
Colin Dexter was a genius writing these.

A melt in the moment experience with every story.
A must read for Morse fans and newbies alike.

3.0 out of 5 stars A classic, 26 Aug. 2011
A timeless classic that is now a bit babyish for me, but I still enjoyed it.

Matilda is a clever, scheming and well-imformed little girl.
I cannot believe that anyone has never read this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great start!, 21 Aug. 2011
This review is from: People's Republic (Hardcover)
This is a great start in the new CHERUB series.

With a mix of new and old characters, there's something for everyone.

Great for fans of old, or new readers.

It jumps between two stories, before merging into one in the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sad!, 21 Aug. 2011
This review is from: Born to Run (Kindle Edition)
A book well worth the price, it pulls on your heartstrings as if they were a violin.

Best Mate's life was always troubled.
Dumped in a river with his siblings at birth,
Kidnapped by evil people,
Finding his original owner, who has a new dog and doesn't remember him.

At least someone found him and gave him a good home, even if he renamed him Paddywack.
