5.0 out of 5 stars Really excellent - highly recommended., 19 Dec. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this because the protective film I'd bought at Jessops when I bought my Lumix TZ30 was so poor.
The instructions are pretty detailed - but I followed them, and boy am I pleased with the result.
It's really excellent. You would not know that I've added a film over the screen.
HIGHLY recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A timeless guide to fishing in beautiful Yellowstone, 3 Aug. 2000
This book was written in the mid 1930's, the first real guide to fishing the magical waters in and around Yellowstone Park, USA. As a guide it is still valuable (I have fished there for each of the last two years). But it is more than a guidebook. It is charmingly written with a lyrical feeling for the natural beauty of the area. It is a delightful companion if you are visiting Yellowstone, and an evocative story of beautiful places and moments if you are not. While I must admit some bias (the author is my late grandfather) it is because of these qualities that the book has been republished. It has many black & white photographs by Dan Callaghan that capture the beauty of the scenery, and two contemporary chapters: one by western flyfishing guru Craig Matthews on how the fishing compares today, and one by Howard Berls on the story of my grandfather. While both are valuable additions, it is the charm of the original, that captures the beauty of Yellowstone and the feeling of being out there, that makes this a wonderful read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully written essays that capture the charm of fishing, 3 Aug. 2000
This is a series of essays on fishing experiences throughout the life of the author. They are wonderfully written, and capture the charm and allure of fishing, of being out there in the great outdoors to 'go fishing' rather than merely to catch fish. McGuane is a wonderfully observant and expressive writer. This book has soul. If being out there, with or without fishing rod, appeals to you, I urge you to read this book...
