The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift, 3 Oct. 2006
Tokyo Drift takes the Fast and The Furious deries back to the slightly grittier first film. The Paul Walker character being absent, and replaced by a troubled young man in need of a fresh start. And the move to Tokyo ensues; the atmosphere of the big city and the Japanese love of souping up the cars is primary. Some excellent car race/ chase sequences follow, as our 'hero' learns the art of 'drifting'
On face value what you see is what you get... if you enjoyed the other movies in the series you will not be dissapointed; if anything this is a fresher take on the genre. The plot at times is questionable, but does not affect the enjoyment of a fast paced and well acted movie.
