5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent TV Show by the Master of Suspense, 30 July 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you are a fan of Alfred Hitchcock's movies then you will love the TV show which aired at the height of his powers, back in the 1950s. Each episode is a production of a play or short story from the time, and developed by Hitch and feels like one of his movies! One of the highlights of the show is Hitchcock's droll sense of humour and constant references to the sponsors. I urge all Hitchcock fans, in fact all fans of mystery and suspense, to buy this product (start off with season 1 to do justice to this wonderful series).

5.0 out of 5 stars Different take on the World Cup, 30 July 2010
I read other books on the history of the World Cup and some of its darker moments and wanted a different change of pace in time for the 2010 tournament. I discovered this fun book which has been developed by the very talented Argentinian artist German Aczel. It chronicles every tournament since it inception back in 1930. Fun drawings complement each tournament and bring a new dimension to the traditional books on the history of the World Cup. I would definitely encourage all football fans to buy this book (even though the 2010 World Cup is now in the history books). Maybe German will release this book with an update on this years tournament in 2014, in time for the tournament in Brazil!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap but good, 3 Aug. 2009
I recently bought 2 of these t-shirts after having bought one last year. They are cheap yes but the quality is good, good for wearing in the Gym and when they wear out just get some more. I will buy more in the future!

Curtain: Poirot's Last Case (Poirot)
Curtain: Poirot's Last Case (Poirot)
by Agatha Christie
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Curtain Call, 23 July 2009
This is the novel where the Belgian marvel solves his final case. Bringing the lives of himself and Hastings full circle as they are back in Styles together after so many years. This is an interesting novel, and the ending is quite different from the usual Poirot novels for obvious reasons. I would not give this 5 stars as I thought that the ending was shocking but the middle of the story stalled somewhat and Poirot's role was lacking, although that can be forgiven for his ailing health. Good read to close out the life of the genius detective!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome iPod Touch, 23 July 2008
This review is from: Apple iPod Touch 8GB (Electronics)
I bought the iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago and am in love with it. This is such an awesome piece of equipment. It is so easy to navigate around the menus. The music function is excellent, I especially like how you can scroll through the album art by turning the iPod landscape. The video playback is excellent. The app store is a really good feature as you can download apps to use, some are free. I got a sports app which shows live scores for the NBA, MLB, NFL, football, tennis... The internet function is really neat and I was able to connect to my WiFi network at home quickly and with no fuss. Accessing email is also a good function, altough you have to be near a wireless network to access them.

The only negatives are the battery life and the fact that there is no flash player to view videos on the internet (apart from the youtube app alreasy on). It doesn't take long for the battery to drain even without watching video I have found.

Overall this is an excellent product and worth purchasing if you don't want to get the iPhone. This is basically the same apart from the phone capabilities.
