5.0 out of 5 stars PROPER INSTRUCTIONS BELOW., 25 Aug. 2016

READ THIS... PROPER INSTRUCTIONS.

Like another reviewer I found i had two units that switched on together, programming it with another numer just made it swich on 2 or even 3 units, trying to 'unlear' is not the way, nor is his instructions on how to.

ALL UNITS CAN REMEMBER 3 CODES..... therefore get a unit to work by itself - set it 3 times to the number you want and then move to the next and do the same. the reason it can remember 3 codes is so you can the 'pair up' say to turn off both bedside lights or even all 5 together on another button using it as a 'master switch.

Very good but as has been said before the plug is a fire hazard due to the cable being the wrong diameter. Buy a three pin kettle lead make sure the female end has rectangular slots.

3.0 out of 5 stars chocolate is minging, 17 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Sums it up really the chocolate is minging, it tastes like sawdust. Its protein, I bought it on offer when I was after casein, reading the ingredients its mostly soy. I was after something for bedtime, bit too many calories in this for me too

the powders really fine clumps a bit but a bit of a rest and another shake sorts it out ( it advises this on the tub )

But what can I say, you don't want to go to bed gagging at the sink trying to get this stuff down. Makes you fart too :(

Summary - minging

4.0 out of 5 stars Tastes Good, Needs a hand blender, 17 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Straight to the point: Vanilla custard tastes good.

I'm not going to harp on about results, its protein, its got loads of carbs - only hard work makes results. I take it because I find it hard to physically eat enough and it should be the only reason you take it too.

Ok this stuff doesn't mix well, its really sugary and it clumps, the portion size is massive too so dump your smart shaker and get a bigger one or take in two shots.

3 options- make in a fridge and keep overnight, use a hand blender or be prepared to drink it through the gap in your teeth.

Important-- Keep a scoop from another product, the scoop in this thing is massive, so big in fact you cant take it out of the tub with the tub upright because its wider than the tub opening . Even if you manage to get it out of the tub, trying to get it in your shaker without spilling half on the floor has defied me. Scoop in the bin day 2.

As I said before the portion size is massive, in fact 2kg only has 14 portions - doesn't mean you need to make one that size mind but if you do, be prepared for it to sit heavy in your guts for 20 mins or so.. Not a pre-workout shake by any means.

in a nutshell - tastes good - very sweet - idiotic scoop - No attack of the farts :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 24 Nov. 2013
Its light; its airy; its vented; it has a good cut to it and doesnt look like a neon binbag; the stitchings good; the zip has a fabric cover on yhe top to avoid rubbing; the material feels nice; its soft and not crinkly; it has zip up pockets with zips chunky enough to use with gloves. Absolutely perfect item and actually better than my nike which was more than twice the price ... One wee niggle i suppose - more robust material needed as a pocket liner if only just on one pocket i dont trust them for anything of value in but thats it , its a cracking garment

3.0 out of 5 stars Depends how you define Pro., 6 Sept. 2013

Im flitting between 3 and four stars for this one. If you want to do straight skipping - fine itll give your wrists and shoulders a good workout especially as its weighted but you wont be skipping long, the reason being that this rope really doesnt like any freestyle work and as a result due to the design the rope coils around itself even when soaked and pre stretched you cant do a couple of crossovers to get the arms moving and free of acid and as a result you have to stop for fatigue, I thought it was bad technique - gave it to the local show off and he couldnt either.

In a nutshell - straight skipping - 4 stars as the rope does get wound up occasionally. Prolonged skipping - 3

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic 6 stars if I could give them. Ideal for young and old., 8 May 2013

Photography to me is not like riding a bike. After a pause of about 10 years and having moved from film to digital I needed a nudge.

I can honestly say, without a doubt this book hits the nail on the head, it goes through the various elements of exposure and gives pictures on the effects available. Effects which you can go out and practice without being in some bizarre far off country.

Theres a chap on here that says theres too many pictures - to that chap.... hello its a photography book, going into the science of photography and equations will learn you diddly squat - you may as well read a crossword.

This book gives you examples, examples which you may find are similar to the picture you want to compose, it gives an explanation of what the photographer did, the aperture and timing and mode of the camera he used to achieve it.... Its striking how little variation is needed to produce wonderful results.

But the main point is - the book is easy - its not filled with mumbo jumbo its straight to the point - you want to take pictures "go out and practice - heres what I did, start there and develop" excuse the pun!

All in all a great affordable book which isnt just a bunch of pictures advertising the writers own works.. Ive come across countless books giving information which just seems cut and paste and then they say heres a wonderful picture and tell you nothing about how it was achieved.

I can gladly say photography wise, an astounding informative read very easy for kids to apprehend and adults too shy to ask. It positively encourages you to go out and be creative. Make this the first book you ever buy on photography!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars the bible, get a good basic round up though, 3 Dec. 2012
Absolutely without doubt the definitive banjo tablature book, after all you want to play the music from the man himself not an interpretation right..... however.

Although the book is clearly a masterpiece and the basics section gives you a moderate grounding, youre pretty much left to your own devices in the tab section.

For the complete beginner Id recommend The complete idiots guide to bluegrass banjo favorites published by Alfred to get to grips with the basics of bluegrass banjo, its really very good then combine the Complete Bluegrass Banjo Method published by Hal Leonard for more advanced banjo, this book has all the scales and all the capo positions and more technical methods to try and play around with, this books makes up for the gaps in Earl Scruggs book, together combined I really dont think you would need any more.

And when Scruggs says ' play many times ' he means it, itll pay dividends. Id also recommend learning some left hand spider walking drills off the internet to improve your fingers.

A wee word though, although the Scruggs book comes with a CD, if you have the other two books then you dont really need it. What you do need to do though is scour the internet for the tracks contained in the book as theyre not on the CD. It took me a week to find about 90% of them to download

2.0 out of 5 stars needs updating, 10 Nov. 2012
This review is from: Bluegrass Banjo (Sheet music)
Every banjo player has this book but its dated. The tablature especially and the CD is really an afterthought. It is a decent book for a tutor to refer to when teaching a student but not in itself a learn from scratch by ones self book due to the learning curve and lack of decent backing tracks (old joe clark moderately advanced that early in the book I think not for a beginner especially with no backing reference for the melody) . I would probably give it 3 stars if the tab was re-written, i would give it 4 stars for an intermediate players book. There are much better more modern methods to learn nowadays - for a complete beginner I would start with The complete idiots guide to bluegrass banjo favorites published by Alfred to learn melodies and rolls and basic chord backups for jamming ( and an extremely good CD, which, if using a laptop has its own unique playing software that lets you slow or hasten the tempo and contiually repeat any part within a tune. The book does not contain lyrics however then move onto the complete bluegrass banjo method published by Hal Leonard for more advanced banjo backup in a jamming session methods and rolls and lyrics
