2.0 out of 5 stars It's not very good., 15 Mar. 2012
It's a shame to say it, but this book is not very good. Not for a life-long Aerosmith fan who was looking forward to things being explained. Instead, this book skips over large swaths of history, and is proveably inaccurate.

I cannot believe how many errors are in this book. Tyler is horrible with dates, and it shows. I don't understand how this book made it through editing and wasn't corrected. Things that are well documented to have happened in 2002 or 2006 are switched around, changed, ignored, etc. Some parts are good, but there are more parts that are really, really poorly written. If you want a clearer picture of Aerosmith, read the offical band autobiogprahy that came out in 1997. It's missing all the recent drama from 2004-2009, but it's still a good read. For the recent stuff, forget Tyler's book, skip straight to Google and Wikipedia for a clearer and more accurate description of what happened.
