In the same class as Ian Rankin and John Harvey. Entertaining, full of action and with an element of police procedure. A very enjoyable read.

So glad I found this author. The DI Horton series is gripping. The characters are realistic and engaging and the setting on the South Coast of England sets this series well above the usual out there. Highly recommended for any crime fiction fan.

Pauline Rowson’s books are cleverly plotted with lots of twists and turns. Can’t turn the pages fast enough. For anyone who enjoys a gripping crime novel these are a must.
