5.0 out of 5 stars A remarkable life, 15 Jan. 2013
A superbly written account of one man's drive and passion that has lead to great success and wealth. This book provides a fascinating insight into the incredible journey of an extraordinary life which began in a small fishing village in apartheid South Africa and has taken Stanley Tollman to business success across five continents.

As one of the world's leading hoteliers, gastronomists and travel specialists, we are introduced to a world frequented by film stars, rock stars, political leaders and leading politicians, as well as rogues and international lawyers. An eclectic mix that guarantees to retain great interest throughout.

This roller coaster of a life is not without problems along the way as you will see, culminating in the the personal extradition battle he and members of his family fought against the United States over a period of many years. To say that he wins is a testament to a remarkable man and his remarkable life.

I can honestly say that I couldn't put it down. It has my recommendation - brilliant - essential reading certainly for anyone who is prepared to fight for what they believe in.
