It's OK... I can't quite make my mind up on this. It just feels unfinished. Anything after Horizon zero dawn was going too seem dull.
I think it will grow.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing game that never takes off!, 18 Aug. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: No Man's Sky (PS4) (Video Game)
Ah... I so wanted to like this game. On the first time playing it I really liked it for a while. However, it crashed numerous times. It is really unpolished and needs a lot more work.
The game play becomes boring and repetitive after a few hours. The real disappointment being when you do your first warp jump and realise pretty much all the planets are the same but with different coloured skies...
No real sense of action or impetus to move on. Mining elements takes ages and is, well, dull. Nothing much seems to happen.
Now admittedly I haven't progressed that far into the game. It might improve but I'm not willing to invest hours upon hours to do this. This is coming from someone who plays the likes of Fallout and Skyrim. So I'm not usually impatient.
It just doesn't live up to the hype.
Not for me. I think more and more gamers will give it negative reviews. There's no sense of reward or accomplishment for playing it. It's like watching paint dry.
No real storyline or it doesn't establish it early enough. I've sent it back for a refund as I don't believe this is worthy of a console release or the price tag.

1.0 out of 5 stars Episodic, no thanks., 9 Mar. 2016
I love the Hitman series. But! Take note developers... I will not pay for games that don't have single player or are released piecemeal as "episodes". This game falls in the latter. So sorry you've lost my money. Nope. Release a full game or forget it. Watch out developers a lot of us feel this way.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best games ever made., 6 Aug. 2015
I'll be brief.
Fabulous graphics, superb storyline that engages from start to finish, challenging enough, great soundtrack, smooth much improved combat, long game play and real value for money. Do buy it. It's what gaming should be. It'll get to you! Not taken a game so seriously in years. We'll done Projekt Red and Namco.
Just superb.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pretty but too short, 7 April 2015
This review is from: The Order: 1886 (PS4) (Video Game)
Beautifully rendered but ultimately too short with repetitive and little game play. More like taking get part in a film than playing a game. Finished it in 4hrs. Sorry I expect more for the money.

TECH21 BOOST DISTORTION Electric guitar effects Distortion - overdrive - fuzz...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great with one serious inept design point., 11 Jan. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Plenty of distortion. Great boost that actually does make a difference and sounds great. Very audible boost for solos. Sag adds a sort of compression and works well. Strong and yet light construction. Not too big...
HOWEVER...
What the hell were they thinking putting the 9v socket right next to the Jack input? Really stupid! Hence three star and not five. Gets in the way when putting your pedal board together and the power jack bumps and jams against the patch cable jack, what a woefully idiotic oversight!

2.0 out of 5 stars Sorry but the ana echo is a noisy and pretty unusable delay pedal, 14 Dec. 2014

No, no, no. Sorry but the ana echo is a noisy and pretty unusable delay pedal. Push the intensity I repeats more than half way and it goes into uncontrollable feedback and squealing background noise. Spend the extra and get a better one.

1.0 out of 5 stars I would not recommend it. I want to believe these claims but ..., 7 Aug. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Sorry but there's too many books in this field now taking a sort of spiritual stance and having little factual evidence to back up claims... And surprise, surprise most of the people mentioned make a living writing books on the subject themselves! There's far too many books on ufo's now as it obviously makes money. There's very little in this book in reality. I would not recommend it. I want to believe these claims but it just seems that everyone sees the infamous greys now when supposedly abducted. I mean look at the cover! Books like these just clutter the issue. Synchronicity is mentioned throughout the book and it's strenuous and dubious to say the least.
