2.0 out of 5 stars The charger cable is flawed., 6 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Havent actually got to the point of using the shaver which might be very good. The charger cable has a massive plug on the end and for me personally when i push it in to my shaver socket the weight of the plug is such that it simply falls out of the wall. I have tried this in various other sockets and the same problem occurs. It might be my shaver socket but other than using selotape to hold it in the wall it is a real shame.

Well, i should have realised as the Look Inside didnt actually tell me anything but the music sheets are unreadable on my Kindle. Very disappointed and it is only 2 quid but not the point. Will be emailing Amazon to complain.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor printing, poor wifi capability, 28 April 2012
We'll, i should have listened to the reviews on Amazon that were poor. Difficult to know what to do with so many positive reviews but basically the printing was awful. My old RX620 printer can print crisp and very glossy looking pictures but on the same paper this printer was matt and just not as colourful to the point where on that basis alone the printer was going to be returned. Following that disappointment i then got the wireless working which was my primary reason to get the printer. As mentioned in other reviews printing from iPad and iPhone just hung with the printer saying "printing" but nothing actually getting printed. Now boxed up and ready to be returned for refund. Very disappointing but if you are after crisp and glossy photos then don't get this.

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent until you want to use it to print., 3 April 2012
As far as this goes from a NAS perspective and streaming and dealing with data i cannot fault it. The front end to configure the system is extremely easy to use and got everything i wanted to work, EXCEPT printing. I was absolutley not expecting my current printer to work and as such knew i would probably need a new printer. QNAP provide a list of printers but how wrong was i in terms of getting a new printer. I have been through the list provided and without expection i cannot even buy any of the ones on the list as they are either discontinued or just not available anymore. I actually then had a go at getting my current printer to work and it wasnt going too badly until i asked for help. The only response i get back when referring to any printer issue is that they cannot support me as i dont have a printer on the list and when i ask for help regarding how i get a printer they just point me at the list!!! Oh well, quite a shame. I have asked them to amend their marketing blurb to reduce the point about using the drive as a print server. Good luck.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, if a little flawed in places., 31 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This pretty much does what you need it to. Within 5 minutes of reading it i had completed 1 level to 100 percent finding what i was missing. However, there are a few errors but with something this complicated and having rushed it out for launch date i am happy that this is ok. Just giving it 4 stars for this reason. Examples of problems include pointing at a sticker bubble that doesnt exist in that particular place or listing the number of items that can be found in one location only to find that the number is incorrect. All in all though does what it says on the tin with loads of detail and pictures so would still recommend. Cheers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Keyboard average, mouse poor for left handed user, 22 Dec. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Was needing a replacement for my trusty old keyboard 1.0a and this seemed to be the only new type available. As other users have noted the space key on the keyboard is too hard to press compared with the other keys. My main gripe is the mouse which I use left handed and it just isn't designed for that. Everything including the instructions show right handed use but using it left handed is very uncomfortable. No idea why there isnt a left handed version available for the Microsoft mice as they just arent right used left handed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Split down the sides within a week of using., 24 Sept. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Whilst this looks good it is so tight fitting the iPad in that it has split already after just 10 uses. Any replacement is going to do exactly the same and i would consider that i am a careful user even goign to the trouble of making sure the case was held to try and prevent the sides splitting. Didnt work and now need to sort a refund.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed - Drive Sharing OK - Printing Rubbish, 11 May 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The other reviews here are spot on. (Unfortunately I got this too soon to see them). The sharing drives isnt too bad although I have a 1TB Philips drive that fails to work with the iConnect. Plug it in to the pc and all is well. Plug it in to the iConnect and wont recognise and drive spins down and goes to sleep. The printing is a disaster quite frankly. I have a Epson RX620 multifunction and this doesn't work, well not at the same time as the drives. When i connected the printer the drives disappeared and nothing worked. Got some printing done but only when no drives were connected so somewhat defeats the point. In the manual it actually warns you that it wont like multifunction printers. Pity they don't tell you that before you buy it. Used the Iomega support and lost interest. They keep asking for all this information to try and help when clearly there is a bigger issue at stake here. Never mind will continue with the device for sharing and might get my hands on a non multifunction to try that but wasnt expecting to have to buy a new hard disk and a new printer when i bought this. Be very careful. They also mention the tested compatible printers in the manual but cant find the list anywhere so even if i did buy a printer couldn't be sure it would work.

2.0 out of 5 stars Quite a bit disappointed, 12 April 2010
TBH, I am quite disappointed by this product.

My main irritation is the way that the coordinates are listed for every item available in the game. Whilst an entire list sounds great they are in a very strange order.

As an example all the Oil Drum locations are listed together. Now, whilst this might help in certain circumstances what I suspect is likely to be needed and indeed what I need is the location of items based on the settlement in the game.

In some cases I am 1 or 2 items away from 100 percent within a settlement but have no idea as to which item I am missing or indeed from the book where it is.

The list of items doesnt seem to be in any specific order within each category either. So in the list of Oil Drums when you list them out they are all over the place rather than being in a clearly defined order.

This was a massive opportunity to really give a definitive view on the game to the maximum effect and I think the opportunity has been missd. It has also been rushed in to production so some very unecessary typos are still present within the book.

My only option would be to scan all the coordinates in to the pc and then sort them in to some sort of order.

Just my opinion though of course and I might be being thick when reading it but seems poor to me.
