This is an excellent book and I recommend it to all. A first class account of one soldiers experience of survival in the Far East during the Second World War. I also had the privilege of meeting the author recently at a dance evening. He truly is a remarkable man and his story opens the door to the often unspoken experience of the horrors of war.
