4.0 out of 5 stars A good package, 1 Feb. 2006
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Overall this is a good deal. The DVD reviews her career well, picking out major incidents. Her background is documented and her rise through the ranks.
Criticisms may include the glaring omission of Trsh vs Steph at No Way Out, arguably one of the most entertaining matches in the divas division ever. Some of the extras are irrelevant and time wasting, such as the 'table' segment, which serves to illustrate some of Trish's other 'attributes'.
Highlights include the hardcore match with Victoria, very entertaining. Good coverage of the Trish vs Steph story and a lot of background from other wrestlers.
Overall a good package for a fan of Trish's or for someone looking for some light 'relief'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yellow 5, 18 April 2005

This is a stunning debut. It reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins but it would be wrong to try and categorise it. Molly Maguire's sultry voice will have you gasping for more and the song writing is delightful. This is one of the best albums I got last year and it is just wonderful. If you like QOTSA, Mondo Generator, A Perfect Circle or Desert Sessions this is for you. The band is comprised of some great names of the rock industry and it shows, visit [...] where you can download tracks and see the videos, and then BUY IT!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for fans of Foo, 13 Jan. 2005
This review is from: Probot (Audio CD)
If you are a fan of the Foo Fighters but not a fanatical dave grohl fan then steer clear of this. It is Grohl fullfilling his dreams of playing along side his idols. If you like heavy/black metal then this should make interesting listening. However you are unlikely to care much for Grohl as a musician if you like black/heavy metal.
Shake Your Blood (the collaboration with Lemmy) is great for those who like Grohl's work with Queens of the Stone Age and those who see One by One as a gateway album to heavier things. However the rest of the album is rather heavy going for anyone who isn't into that sort of thing.

4.0 out of 5 stars J Devil Not QOTSA's Yoko, 10 Sept. 2004
This review is from: Peace Love Death Metal (Audio CD)
This album got bad press upon it's release as many ilogically blamed Jesse 'the devil' Hughes and the Eagles of Death Metal for Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan's departure from QOTSA. However it is fair to say that the wide panning the album received was undue.
The incredibly catchy and well written opener "I Only Want You" sets the scene for this melding of Country and Rock. Other highlights include "Miss Allissa" and "Bad Dream Momma".
As with many past releases involving Josh Homme this album suffers from the misguided interludes between tracks. As with past Dessert Sessions and Songs for the Death these only hamper the continuity.
