The situationists so often wanted to defy all definition and be in a perpetual state of unpredictable action that supposedly any book that attempted to pin them down or explain, would be for them an instant failure. Simon Sadler breaks through all that producing a learned and comprehensive view of this whirlwind philospohy. He clearly has huge sympathies with many of the movements key tenets of thoughtt but is equally acerbically critical of its own worst excesses. On every page I learnt some thing new.
